Sunday found us at Chenango Valley State Park(CVSP)
Chenango Valley State Park

For a very cold snowy fun ride. Really thought we would have the place to ourselves, but there were others willing to ride in the Zero degree temps. Gotta love New Yorkers!

Took the back way up and stopped for a few historic sights and basically followed the D&H R/T all the way up to the NY border.

Then onto the my fav Moto Club, Square Deal Riders at Belden Hill NY and some ice racing, Moto style. Lot's of great friends in attendance.
Winter Series

Finally a trip around CVSP. Parked by the stone pavilion. Tried to stay down in the gap trails outta the wind. Snowing as we rode but really cold temps didn't make for difficult riding. The snow stayed on the trails being crisp and dry. Riding at CVSP is a blast, short steep ups, and twisty trails with log overs make for a real ol'school kinda feel. If one can feel something in zero temps. There are designed log over play areas off the side of the trails and much fun can be had.

Ending up over looking the Chenango River and the power lines where the cold wind was enough to ice up the beard, it was time to head back. All in all a total day of exploring, pics, moto viewing, pics, and mtb riding with pics.

Ended with tasty hot food, and great drinks and a slow ride home talking of what next weekend will bring!

Ah...
...winter!
