    Brady's Run [o]

A couple pictures from this winter. Some rides, some hikes.

In Western PA the well heads are next to the outhouse

    Good job!

Those are great pics and looks like the perfect...

... amount of snow, just enough the ride yet have a blast. We had the same amount of snow on the ride the other night, and I almost went home and got the tent and camped. It was so quiet, no wind and even at 20 degrees it wasn't bad. Sorry now I didn't, everything was frozen solid!

Brady's Run is a great place!

    Thanks for the tour!

Ya we rode Saturday in the 20's. My buddy had trouble with his clip less pedals & cleats getting jammed with ice. I had flats but snow & ice caked up at the bottom bracket & dragged on the tire. Frustrating ride but still fun & a good workout!

That's not a well head, it's a frost proof yard hydrant. Water is piped to it, so its proximity to the crapper is irrelevant.
    Cool photos

Try WD40 on the pedals, take the pedals off and spray them internally then wipe off the excess from the pedal bodies, and don't spray it anywhere near the brake rotors, or else it will f-up the brakes/rotors big time. I use it on my Motos/Quads in snow/ice racing, under fenders and around suspension linkage, it will also work on the bottom bracket area/cranks, but you'll have to do a little work by taping off the bike brake areas with plastic, not paper towels. Try it sometime.
