After it heals you should have it tattoo'd to preserve the memory :-) Joking aside that is one serious looking wound. Good luck on the recovery.

I saw you guys riding yesterday. My allergies were horrible and I had no energy to ride, so we at least took a car ride out to scope out that park and South Park.

Considering it will be my first time riding at Boyce, where is a good point or trail head to start? I would say I'm more of an intermediate rider.

fwiw, i like to start at the cabin parking lot and head up the trail all the way to the left of the lot. you can put together a sweet loop. make sure to hit both sides of the park if you have the time.

I really dont know Boyce that well its seems like a really confusing park to me.

If you ever want to ride south park though I know it very well and would be glad to show you around. Just shot me a PM.

I'm taking vacation the last week of May and plan on riding South Park, Boyce, and Deer Lakes during that time. I'll definitely let you know.

Where do you usually start out at South Park, and what kind of terrain? I noticed some smooth looking single track down along a stream as we were driving along.
