Any good trails near DuBois, PA?

Going up to DuBois for a week and was wondering if there were any good trails within a hour of DuBois, PA?

    Thanks,

    Chris

Rockton Mt. Trail system... 20 minutes outside dubois. Between clearfield and dubois..nice trails not real technical. Single track. I think they were originally built fo xc sking . Road there over Easter visiting my dad. Not to many people ride these trails. Picked up a stick and destroyed my rear derailluer. I'm sure there is many miles of trails just not a lot of people. Oh yeah I'm sure Parker damn state park has a few trails.

Patience grasshopper (I was out riding).

There is some singletrack at Clear Creek State Forest, up near the clarion river. Here's a map that shows a route:

    http://www.fattirechallenge.com/2012...Course_Map.pdf

Google "fat tire challenge" for more info.

Also there's some riding in the Allegheny National Forest. You might try Mill Creek/Brush Hollow:

Note that there is a question about whether bikes are allowed on the northern end of Mill Creek Trail, where it enters the Kane Experimental Forest. You may have to cut out to the road (or turn around) at the pipeline swath. Or more likely you'll see no one, it will remain unsigned and it will be a great ride.

Also some riding at Buzzard Swamp (mostly flat, double track around wetlands impoundments). Maybe just outside an hour, there is riding at Cornplanter State Forest outside Tionesta - some singletrack, some primitive double track, some forest roads. Tanbark Trail at Hearts Content is open to bikes. Probably just over an hour, but Rimrock/Morrison is really nice:

This is right up by Kinzua Reservoir on the north end of the National Forest, east of Warren. Really nice.

I have a bunch of ANF mtb maps I made in my facebook gallery - hopefully this link will take you to the map gallery:

Lotsa riding in the ANF, just not documented yet. Give it another year and I'll have that map far enough along that it'll make it easy to find a ride.

Swampboy - Just wanted to say thanks again for the trail info. I ended up riding the Fat Tire Challenge course twice last week and all I can say is WOW, what a great trail. Got lost several times as there were a few gas wells not marked on the map but beggar's can't be choosers. That is one sweet trail that you have up there.

    Thanks again,
    Chris
