What are the trail like there?

Is the ride like the trails in Thorpe? Rocky and very technical sort of like the american standard? Or is it like the trails in Tamaqua near the pool? We would love to find a new place to ride. We are a group of bikers who live in the Phila area. Any info would be great. Thanks.

they're like american standard. The trails in tamaqua by the pool have really taken a beating by trees, enduro bikes etc. Unfortunately there may be some local riders but i haven't seen an organized effort.

let me know when you guys come up.

    Hey! Nice to know....

Would this be the same area where the orig. Dave Butcher run Mountain Bike Weekend may be heading? Have a buddy (non-rider) in the Mahanoy City area who knows Artie (formerly of JAMA Bikes) and had heard that there's some good stuff up your way. Would love to head up your way sometime to try it out. (Combine it with a quick post ride visit to by buddy's house...and I'd be set!) I'm from the Exton area. Now of New Holland, (Lancaster County) PA.
PS. Is it true that there's some good singletrack in the Delano area as well?
    Thanks!
