Rallon Fox X2 climb switch modification

Has anyone ever modified or permanently removed the climb switch on the Fox X2?

I find that I’m constantly bumping the climb switch into the “on/climb” position, which is especially annoying during descents. Per the Fox website the switch can be removed easily by just loosening the set screw on the side of the switch. Just wanted so see if anyone else has done anything or if they just deal with it?

One option I thought of was to just reposition it 90 degrees or so. Then “off” is approximately where “on” is now and “on” is facing down. I haven’t checked any clearances though.

I was able to rotate the switch 90 degrees clockwise by just removing and rotating the switch itself. Super easy!

It seems that now the switch will be out of the way and not get bumped into the “on” position. It’s still very accessible to toggle it on/off, it’s just a little more out of the way. if it doesn’t work, I’ll try something else.
