    Yay!

I signed this petition last month. I went to the city council meeting last night, and this proposal got approved.

    We're getting a bike park!

But I'm excited because there will be three different pump tracks, and two dirt jump lines.

Nice! It would be nice if one of the pump tracks was enclosed for times of bad weather.

Yeah, it would, but I don't think they have the budget for any indoor stuff.

It's a little further than that. 90 minutes one way during the off season, closer to 2 hours this time of year. Our county has tons of USFS acreage, all of which the local USFS chief ranger (or whatever the county USFS head is called) wants no one to enjoy.

Hopefully they don't cut costs by overlapping the bike / cross-country tracks with the golf driving range.

Cool! It mentions CX riders. Any idea what they are planning for that? Or is that just included on the XC trail?

I dunno. I've been searching around for a detailed description of what will be built, and can't find anything. I'm going off what the local SORBA Facebook page has been posting about it.

You have to read what he said.

Something about a dog park, running trails, frisbee golf and a cross country trail. They must have shot down the Outdoor Pole Dancing Studio.
