    Where U At?

I realize this forum is quite large, members-wise. And since there is no location info below the avatar, I'm curious as to how far it reaches in the actual world.
I am smack dab in the middle of the Pacific, Hawaii.

Sorry, I forgot that the "introduce yourself" thread has a location question already. Was going to delete this thread, but someone already replied. Mods feel free to delete if deemed necessary.

I'm in Reno for a few more weeks! Then it's home to the peninsula (SF Bay Area) for summer, then back to Reno in the fall.

The trailheads at the base of Peavine start on the other side of the street from my dorm. I know, it's a tough life.
Sometimes, I question the value of my content.

Hmmm in the mountainous state of Florida.. In Ocala!! Since everyone else gave a proximity to their local trails I'll tell my story, I live 3/4 mile to the greenway trail head and about an 8 mile bike ride to Santos bike trail which is one of the top Florida trails

Northern Los Angeles County where the cost of lving is far too high causing me to have two jobs which gives no little to no time to ride plenty of trails in all directions from me except that I'd have to deal with gridlock traffic to get there. There's too many people, too much smog, too much crime...it's a lovely place.

Been trying to get my wife to move to some one-horse town in the stciks since we got married. Been ready to retire from this reality for a long, long time. Not gonna happen...

I'm in Logan Utah and to qualify this, in Utah you can only buy weak beer; 3.2% by weight (or 4.0% by volume, as people like to spin it) on Sundays and in stores outside of the state run liquor stores.

Not true. You can buy beer directly from craft beer makers (breweries/microbrews) on Sundays. You can also buy beer from restaurants. The only place that you can't buy strong beer on Sundays, is the state liquor store.

Agree that you live in a beautimousgourgeous place. Got to spend an afternoon skiing at Big Mountain on a work trip a few years ago. It was mid-week - no lift line and skiing forever down looooong runs of good powder. One of the places I daydream about almost 10 years later.

North GA myself, at the foot of the Appalachians and hundreds of MTB miles within a short drive.

I wish... But I'm still a C rider, so no nationals until I hit the As. My team was supposed to have two of our guys go, but one caught mono with a month left in the season and the other qualified, got a spot, and then crashed and broke his wrist a week after conference championships.

    Pro-tip from him: Don't crash.
