    What smells do you like?

I was at Costco yesterday and had a slice of cheese pizza. Sitting out there the smell from the tire shop was breezin' my way. I realized... I like the smell of fresh tires.

I also love the smell of two stroke exhaust and high octane (102) race fuel.

Anything you like? Not looking for old cliches like strawberries or new car smell - weird smells?

ciggarettes, even though i will never be a smoker. Same for cigars, which i do smoke now and then. Tobacco in general.

bike tires and other tire rubber

I am a sniffer. In no particular order: Gasoline, Sharpies, Crayons, skunk...in moderation, skunky beer, pencil shavings, etc...

Vanilla, cinnamon, basil at the farmers market, skunk, suntan lotion, the ocean, rain after it soaks the pavement, fresh dirt, clean vagina, and my favorite is fresh cut hay.

Original Triflow (not the soybean-stuff), bearing-grease, new shoes (especially Vans), charcoal when first lit, metal as it's being grinded/cut, cassette-tapes when first removed from its cellophane-wrapper (haven't smelled that since the late 80's).

Hmm, what does a fish-market smell like to a blind, horny lesbian?

Coffee brewing, the smell of bacon and eggs, the smell in the air of highly ionized air after a good storm with a blue norther following up behind it, and most any racing event lubricated with motors running this. Real, degummed, castor bean based oil in any two stroke motor. The memories come flooding back. Winter Rains, mud, tacky tracks, motocross at the local track, and the smell of fresh bean oil as the guy in front of you roosts a big one exiting a berm, the taste of sweat dripping down your upper lip, inside your full faced helmet.

Nothing as a young man was as exciting as smelling a girls freshly washed and conditioned hair on a slow dance. Booooing!!!!!

Gas, oil, grease, exhaust all tell me I am in my element.

Some woman smell skanky all the time. A huge turn-off.

Probably one of the reasons I married my wife. She is sweet all around, if you know what I mean.

OOH... don't lump us all in the same situation.

For example, my wife is a MILF by most standards. She is a high school teacher and gets notes all the time offering services from young men. I am very flattered.

I have been married to this woman since 1998 . At that time she was just 28 years old (give or take a year)

We do the down and dirty all the time. And together work out some new positions. Wife is a Zumb instructor. So you know she is hard and tight. I am fat and sloppy..... LOL

My own deodorant, Oh La La Lavender scent.....strong enough for a man, but PH balanced for a woman, whatever the hell that means. If you're a man and haven't used women's deodorant, try it and I promise you'll never use men's deodorant again.

    I like--in no order:
    Medical grade weed
    Cigars (I smoke these)
    Camel Turkish Jade (I'm a non-smoker)
Gasoline (any kind, I'm not picky with my octane)
    Ozone (that after rain smell)
    Chlorophyll (fresh cut grass)
Montana spray paint (better than Ironlak which is better than Rusto and Krylon)
    Pharmaceuticals
Lady B.O. (and some dudes B.O.(I like it more than perfume))
    Fresh cut wood
    Any kind of food cooking
    Bonfire smoke
    Skunks
    Permanent markers
    Glue
    New books (and old)

There's probably more but this is good.

I've been thinking about a girl I had a fling with one time and I'm remembering the scent on her body. My first night with her, I asked, is that coconut oil? So, a mix of whatever detergent, her shampoo and whatever body soap/conditioner, deoderant, and the likes. I remember the scent of her right now, and I suppose I miss it. Even though it was a fling.
Just thinking of her brings in the smell of her bed room. Neat.
I don't really like the smell of slick honey grease. It smells much worse than a number of others I've been working with lately. Love the application use, but meh

Wow that's so inappropriate for a forum about mountain biking...
My wife is 21 years old, runs 5/10 miles a day... I could care less about your wife and im sure most would agree.

no one mentioned "the smell of napalm in the morning"

    - I like the smell of eucalyptus tree. Reminds me of yearly summers in San Francisco
    - the smell of coffee in the morning (even tho I drink redbull) it is imperative at Design engine that the school smell like Coffee before the students arrive. that way they know they are in the right place
    - I race sportbikes and those tires get expense. I like the smell of 20 tires in my trailer (it's sorta the smell of Christmas to a sport bike racer

I like coconut oil in the dead of the Chicago Winter. I wipe some on my hands and face as I get out of the house for work. Charms off the long Chicago winter.

And I've been dating 20 somethings for 20 years. I didnt mind thinking of the way Mark42 's wife smells.
