Those ads are all crafted to your general browsing habits. Everyone will have differing things that show up. I usually get the things I have been browsing at Jenson USA or on ebay or Autotrader.

    There, fixed that for you.
MTBR does not charge the forum members. Its not cheap to operate such a well organized website and forum like this. The administrators rely on advertising dollars to fund this site. When forum users publically post up about their use of adblocker software, it hurts MTBR's ability to sell ad space.
I have been involved with lesser forums that charged money for usage. The fact that a resourse as valuable as MTBR is free is an absolute blessing. Having to see a few ads is a small price to pay.

And to keep this on topic -

    Teva shoes
    Two CitiBank credit cards
    Something from Equifax

Ever since we bought our new house two months ago, the credit card offers have been everywhere. As if I really need to go further into debt.

The Obama ads are getting a little ridiculous. We can't talk about political stuff but we can get ads crammed down our neck.

I was surfing all the lusty WAGs on the DailyMail and next thing I knew, MTBR had Kirsty Alley trying to sell me "women's products" if you know what I mean.

Can I pay and block the ads? Because this site is killing my netbook. Maybe I'm a cheap basturd that bought a crummy computer but it works just fine on all the other sites I visit.

    Bontrager tires
    T-Mobile phone service
    Stuff from JensenUSA
    Trailtorch

MTBR must be psychic, because it somehow knows everything I 'need' right now -- my cell phone contract expires in Sept., I ripped a hole in the sidewall of my tire last ride, and I would like a new helmet, which Jensen seems to offer. Incredible! (I don't know where the trailtorch came from -- I haven't been looking at lights since last October).

Oh bullshat Brewtus. Anyone that wants to have ads. viewed should make them entertaining and certainly not intrusive, annoying and obnoxious. Don't you ever get tired of being a completely creepy a**hole?

I don't use adblocking software but I do use software that blocks any tracking of my browsing. So mine are random and not associated with my browsing history.

I do miss that cute blonde cyclist from the fitness singles ads that were everywhere on here. I think she had a thing for me.
