What do you collect? Any belly button lint collectors out there?

This thread is for you collectors to expose to the MTBR community what you collect...

Yes, i collect my belly button lint or ''fluff'' as some like to call it
i have been collecting this for about 18 years now, i started when i was about 19 and it has turned into a real passion...
I just cant get enough of it..
I have a coffee jar of it, and one day i will use it to make the softest pillow known to man kind..
Due to the slow nature of this type of collecting i am thinking about getting others to help me out and donate there belly button lint as well...
Most of it has a blue tinge to it and its softer than silk, its a real under rated thing...

i also collect bird, lizard, snake, or any animal skulls i can find, i have over 120 on a shelf i made just for them.

i have an old radio collection, an old Kenner vintage starwars figure collection, a vintage skate board collection, a vintage yo-yo collection and a vintage knife collection.

if there are any belly button lint collectors out there i would love to hear from you, cheers

    WHAT DO YOU COLLECT?

You should spin it into yard and make the softest beanie know to man.
Super snowflake = when an avatar offends you so much you have to cry about it and report it to admin. Life must suck for you.

i also used to collect any drug i could get my hands on, but due to my habit my collection never really got of the ground, i collected them for about 20 years but in the end i had nothing to show at all.......

but that could explain my passion for belly button lint collecting

I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.

But I suppose it could be worse. I suppose it could be toe jam. On toast.
I'm enjoying my childhood way too much to ever give it up.

Nubster, i like that idea, i see your a thinking man, i was thinking of going real hard at it n seeing if i could get into the guinness book of world records for the biggest collection of belly button lint ever owned by one man, thats why im thinking of setting up a website dedicated to my pursuit, people could send it to me, and i could send them out a certificate for their help..
I dont think its beyond my means to do this, its just going to take dedication n passion im in for the long hall, surely i already have the biggest collection in Australia, now i'll take on the world, n nobodies gonna stop me........

I really don't collect stuff, but this thread is just too awesome to let it float to the bottom.

toe nail cuttings, but its always only a temporary collection.

Normally just scrape them up into a pile and leave them on the coffee table. They only last till the better half sits down.

Tone's do you ever supplement with but crack fluff, you know the stuff you get from breaking in new undies by wearing them a couple days in a row? Happy to stick some in the post for you mate to help the collection along.

I have nothing on Tone's belly button lint collection, but I have started collecting old video games. I have about 20-30 Nintendo games, 11-15 Super Nintendo games, 40 Nintendo 64 games, and around 20 Sega Genesis games. I started this hobby by trying to gain the stuff back that I had when I was a kid before mom gave it away. From there I started trying to get the most popular games on each system. I definitely don't play them enough and most of them I haven't played at all, but I have them again if I want to play them or if my future children ever want to play them. I don't need anymore games and I have most of the really good ones, but there are a few that I still want to get. It is very hard trying to find a copy of these games because most of them are 20 years old and it's even harder sometimes to find them for a price I want to pay. I enjoy the hunt as much, if not more, than the actual game itself.

That's the truth Mar. You can find some really unique and rare things on ebay. Here is a rare super nintendo game, but no way am I going to pay 250 for it. Earthbound Super Nintendo SNES RPG Cart Only Tested with Working Saves 045496830434 | eBay

If I find it at a yard sale I would pick it up just to have.

Do you still have and use any of the old snap together track that used to break all of the time or are you using the newer "Tomy" push together stuff?

I still have both but it's hard with a 6 yr old boy that just doesn't watch what he is doing and is forever tripping over the edges of the track when he plays. No I don't have a table big enough to get it off the floor.
