Now I see. Sorry, I saw Comic-Com and Star Trek in the same post and didn't delve any further. I now see the humor, still not a fan of SciFi but that show would be funny.

Cheers, DJ. I enjoyed ST but was never a "Trekkie."

I recorded it, but haven't watched it yet. I watched, The Deuce, on HBO. Pretty good.

I can't wait for the return of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Which makes it what it is. Surprised I like it so much with the creator of Seinfeld Larry David being the creator of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Orville is funny. It has lots of little easter eggs and tributes to Past Sci Fi movies and series.

The way the Captain addresses the crew the first time, is from Star Trek the Motion Picture.

The Character "Bortis" is named after a Klingon ship from Star Trek the Next Generation.

There is a robot that is a lot like C-3PO/Spock. LOL

There are tons of actors in it from other sci fi, like Penny Johnson, that played Benjamin Sisko's wife Cassidy Yates on Deep Space Nine etc and other guest stars from Star Trek series and other sci fi.

I watched it last night. Pretty corny, of course. I liked it and look forward to more though. I sort of expect Sarah Silverman to make an appearance at some point.

There needs to be an episode with William Shatner and others from Star Trek maybe as bad guys? The robot from lost in space too!

Yes it's moved to Thursday night @ 9pm. Found that out last night when I stumbled onto another showing of episode 2 which I had missed. They said it has 16 million fans already. Seth and the Ex got transported to a zoo butt were rescued. He's working on the million ways to die in space. Sooooooo dangerous out there! The ship is alway's headed south!

I thought the few episodes I saw were pretty good but I have an antenna and only get like 3 channels. Unless you count televangelists stations, then I get 53 channels.
