    So... We finally got moisture moving in here in So Cal! Evelyn Taft, a local weather meteorologist, has warned of some flooding in recent burn areas.

    Here in central WA, there were a lot of fires and now that the rainy season is starting up land and mudslides are a big concern.

    I would definitely listen to what Evelyn has to say.

    One of my favorite weather people here in Seattle is Steve Pool.

    I watched channel 2 last night. Same forecast. Nice to finally get a little precip here. The dusty trails will be dustless for one or two days.

    Ok s03 I clicked on deke's link, what can I say, I love things down under. Anyway at the bottom of the story is a pic of a young lady that clearly got rained on and given this is a news and weather thread I obviously had to see what the story behind her getting wet was.
