Things You Think Are OVER RATED...

Many things in my opinion are over rated. For one insomnia is over rated. Who needs sleep I'll get plenty of that when I'm 6' under.

BTW its 3 am and I'm wide awake.

Actually, the verdict is in. Humans will eventually be eliminated from our beautiful planet either by natural catastrophe or by us killing each other off to the last.

IMO "netbook" format computers are highly underrated. So tiny and portable, and no shitty pad/tablet device, its a real computer running a real os. And now when we have really efficient cpus these make even more sense.

I have to disagree with you about Nirvana but I do agree with you about Grunge music overall.

Nirvana would have fit into any type of music scene that involved intense music, from early punk rock in the 70s and on.

Over rated things are sometimes under rated and vice versa.

Once I decide something is over rated I wait 5 minutes and then revisit it and realize I jumped to an early conclusion. Then I hastily re-label it as under rated.

    It could happen.

Do people really think that these photoshopped-to-allhellandback 'loose representations' are actual body parts?!? For 'reality' TV stars, these people are only very loosely anchored in reality, and their reality is unlike anything the rest of the world enjoys. This woman is a vapid idiot who made her start by sucking d**k in a trash movie. The 'reality' of her backside might be rather more horrific than even the pictures suggest. I wouldn't go there with yours Crankout...

I'm not as in the know as some of you young fellows in regards to celebrity make-overs and surgical enhancements. After some research on the intranets, I do see that there is some suggestion about the enhancement of her posterior. Upon glancing at the photo spread, I'm hard pressed to believe that her bosoms were enhanced; they look lovely and natural. But who am I to judge?

Regardless, I will continue to enjoy my superficial love affair with Ms. K. and her undulating curvaceous frame!

As far as Kim K's rump. I'm with car bone. It's interesting to look at and almost good but not really right at all, and it kind of freaks me out a little. Actually, it perplexes me why anybody would want to have their ass Photoshopped to look like a mule ass.

True, but we never meant to give you the impression that it was the best. It's more of an experience for anyone who is visiting out West. It's more than just about the food. It's a well run, simple, super successful business with hundreds of locations that are slammed busy all the time. It's kind of like being in a little city with each visit. I enjoy that about it. The food is good, but nowhere near the best.

Oh, I'm glad we went there. I would hate to not try it while I was out west.

I see the attraction to the restaurant itself, but to me the food didn't live up to the internet hype.

Net it's a Southern California original chain. It's built a huge reputation for itself for decades. Just look at it like a cult classic. You have to experience it for yourself at least once. It's a chain like McDonalds but with a Cali flare and taste. Plus the old fifties decor with the hot rod theme is awesome and many places try to duplicate it.

Back when my local In-n-out opened (1970s), there was a custom car show there every weekend night. Back when cruising was the cool thing to do. It was fun to watch the cops pull over custom rod after custom rod. They would get cited for any number of illegal code violations. The Blvd in front of my home where I grew up would be quite the site on weekends.

    Very cool!

I do like the In-N-Out name. It makes me horny, and by extension, hungry.

I was born in San Bernardino Ca, the home of the Hells Angels and the original McDonalds. As a little kid in the late 1950's I would eat there. It was about 2 miles from my house in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains. Fond memories. Old, you bet.

Very cool I think I've driven by that one.

Also about 4 years ago I was in Downey California on work related sales. And I happened upon a McDonalds that claimed it was the original one. It was actually closed and I think turned into a museum. But it claimed to be the original on the sign out front.

I don't think In-n-Out is overrated. To most of us in So Cal it's just what we grew up with and I hear more of the "our burger place (Five Guys from East Coasters for example) is better than In-n-Out" talk than I hear CA natives getting into pissing matches over who has better burger joints. It is a classic fast food place, the first drive thru in California and consistent with a simple menu. People don't flock to it for a gourmet burger, there are plenty of places with "better" burgers, they go because it is quick and tasty plus cheap. Not everyone is going to be a fan but the fact that they have steady business from when they open at 10:30am until they close at 2am shows that they are doing something right.

Now I will take a #1 with grilled onions and add ketchup, please!

The Hyundai cars I've seen lately look pretty good! Some of us are old enough to remember when Japanese cars were the butt of jokes. Then people started to realise that they cost less, were more reliable and came with better spec. Hyundai will go the same way.

When the japs started making cars they came to sweden, volvo I believe, to learn how to build efficient assembly lines and all that crap. A few years ago volvo bought toyotas (I think) 2 generations old assembly line machinery to use in the volvo factory

I like like german cars but I have no problem with japs or koreans. That being said I just love how everything is where you expect it to be inside a bmw coupe, old, new all of them, you don't need a degree to adjust or change something in bmws because everything is placed in the most logical and natural position (imo of course). Some cars you have to look for some kind of lever or button or switch for 10 minutes to find the right one, and some cars had seriously cryptic nonsense **** printed on buttons.

My fathers friends wife used to work at bmw in munich and they could have like 10 engineers working on one single button, how it should look like, how it should sound, how it should feel when pressed, what material, what texture, symbol design, position, lifetime and so on. they don't **** around there..

American cars? lol. You can keep that ****.

think I'm gonna buy a bmw 3.0 or 2800 from the 60ies. no electronic **** to go wrong, and if its made it 40 years so far its gonna make it another 40. It also needs to have about 600hp. I'm also interested in owning a mercedes from like 1965 or so. Other cars than that? Well I guess I'll pass.

Also the cheapest cars to own and operate over time are porsches, they almost never break down. Because you pay for high quality materials there. they don't cut corners, and thats why they cost more.

That was my point, they try to and fail miserably. Fake cities, terrible missiles, theme parks with no one in them, a huge hotel that has taken decades to open and still isn't complete.. If they did do business with the outside world imagine how bad their exported products would be.
