Honestly "bad" things never make me want to drink. I go hyper / control mode when I am stressed or frustrated and the last thing I want is alcohol.

I associate beer / alcohol with pleasure. Things that make me want to drink:

    - Beaches / vacation
    - Airports (in a good way because I know I'm travelling!)
    - Watching my wife drink cause things are about to get "interesting" !
    - Watching football
    - Sitting in a jacuzzi or pool
    - Finishing a MTB ride / trail run / hike
    - Fishing
    - Seeing a comedy show
    - Hanging out with good friends
    - Relaxing in a hammock
    - Brewing beer (duh!)

Oh, and I am on track to finish my first Dry January. It hasn't been that hard, but the "lack of beer" fatigue is real!

I love drinking at the airport. Not for just the travel, but meeting interesting people.

Common knowledge nuts and seeds are good for men's health, especially prostate health. Nuts and seeds are rich in a substance called beta-sitosterol. This helps maintain and stabilize testosterone levels.

Know what else is especially rich in beta-sitosterol?
    Bourbon!
    So choose your source carefully.

    Oh! Holy Hell, YES!

My favorite "tech" conversation with my Dad over the phone.

Me: "Dad, hit the "X" in the upper right hand corner of the window to close it."
Dad: "There's no "X" in the upper right hand corner of the window."
Me: "There has to be. Every window has an "X" in the upper right."
    Dad: "Nope, there isn't one."
Me: (Face palm) "Dad, have Mom look at the screen."
Dad: (now agitated) "My vision is fine, THERE IS NO "X"..WHOOPS! There it is. OK, next?"

    My pics dont turn anymore

Ok, pull down from top of screen

    What?

Swipe down from fop of screen then

    Why?

To open the quick menu, then we can reselect autorotate

    Why would we do that?

So your pics rotate automatically again

But l never unselected it so why should l reselect it?

and so on and so on *facepalm*

at least we have deal, every phone question costs him 2 beers, and he's cool with that, as am l

I'd say you should worry about Missourians being especially bad, but none of them could even make it that far driving, tbh.

Social situations make me want to drink, especially if I only know like one person. The problem is that once I listen up I'm overly excitable. I tend to unleash things on people, like someone legitimately didn't know what singing nettle was, so not only did I have to tell them that it's a plant that stings you, but also how and why it stings, and it's edible after boiling. Another person asked why okra makes gumbo think, and I had to tell them what kind of fruit okra is, that it's closely related to hibiscus, and that the gel substance that thickens food is "mucilage" and is produced in special mucilage cells.

    God I have a problem.

When you agree to do something even tho you're not sure you can pull it off.

And then you have to actually go thru the motions of pulling it off.
