Only once have I felt the earth shake. The quake happened far far away and barely was perceptible. Something like a 3.5-4.0

    6.6 sounds a bit scary

Updated to 6.4 at the epicenter.

    4.0&3.5 aftershocks.

It was a roller, it moved twice in my area.

After 94's I'm a bit scared of them. That was 7.3!

I've felt plenty. I was living in SoCal for the Whittier quake, and for the Landers.

This one, I didn't feel. I guess too far away and I was busy working. Collecting that holiday OT!

Despite living in the Shaky Isles (New Zealand) the only earthquakes I've felt have been in California, one up the coast and one in LA when we were only ~3 miles from the epicentre! Scary stuff, hope it isn't a sign of bigger things to come...

Lots of peeps here felt it but I didn't, darn. I love earthquakes. News says there's a 1 in 20 chance there will be a bigger one to follow.

I would have slept through it if my GF didn't wake me up saying earthquake! We're about 100 miles south. I called my parents that are about 25mi south of us said they barely felt it.

I felt a good number when living in Japan, though nothing big while I was there. Also felt one here in Georgia, which is extremely rare. It was a good ways off and woke my wife and me up during the middle of the night. We looked at each other and said "earthquake?" I went and turned the news on and nothing. Went back to sleep and when I got up, turned the TV on and all of the news stations were talking about the earthquake.

I didn't feel it here in Lake Arrowhead, but several others did which bums me out because I like them, to a degree. Not big ones like Landers though. I thought the world was coming apart.

It's funny when you're somewhere that doesn't get earthquakes often. I was in Seattle for a 5.0 and people were traumatized. Then you have places like Iceland where nobody bats an eye, like here.

ETA My co-worker just showed me pics of the local grocery store with stuff all over the floor and off the shelves.

I barely felt that one last night. I was kicked back in my office recliner and it felt like being in a boat on small waves.

Very interesting that the geologists repeatedly said there was a good chance a bigger one (vs. Thursday's) would happen soon.

I felt the second one. It was a long slow roller. Everyone in the bar started cheering but bottles didn't even rattle. I've been told by a geologist that the magnitude dissipates by one in the mountains at 5000'. We're a hundred miles from the epicenter but had no damage. There was an aftershock an hour ago that I didn't feel. Almost a 4. I wont get out of bed for a 5.

I felt the 4.9 aftershock this morning. Rolled pretty well since I was laying perfectly still.
