    Signs of fall

I had to go pick up something this morning from a friend that lives in the country...well, like a mile from my house

I was struck by how quickly signs of fall have started appearing.

People are staying in, hunkered down, wondering if it's ever going to get warm again.

    Signs of fall

I'm drinking an Oktoberfest beer at my local brewery. Fall is my favorite season for beers.

Nope sorry I disagree. Most micro beer drinkers turn their nose up at Sam Adams without even trying it. That's because Sam Adams was one of the original micro brews and they made it big. Once they made it big all the little guys looked down on them like they sold their soul to the devil / the masses. The fact remains that Sam Adams have won more awards than any other American beer. Sure there are plenty of good and great beers out there but just because a beer became so popular that the masses bought it up don't look down upon it without even trying it. They are still concidered a micro brew due to their volume made and sold
each year. Just under the limit.

They started in 1984' and have since crafted 55 different beer flavors. Many of which get rave reviews and awards. As I said the most award winning beer company of all time.

That explains why the socks are so active these days. They are coming out of the woodwork...or whatever a cactus is made of.

    Re: Signs of fall

We had a week of cool weather here in western PA. The leaves are starting to show some color. Soon the trails will be hidden under a thick mat of wet, greasy leaves.

Yupper; maples are starting to turn here in NYS.

The leafpeepers will be heading up the the Adirondacks to take it all in. Here in the Finger Lakes region, when the leaves hit their peak there is nothing like it. Absolutely amazing.
The only important thing these days, is rhythm and melody. Rhythm...and melody.
