Does shampoo-ing your hair every day really accelerate baldness? What about using conditioners every day?

    Shampoo-lemma

It doesn't matter to me. At the end of a work day my hair is so dirty and matted with sweat that it's getting washed as soon as I get home. Baldness is just a part of life.

I shampoo my lemur every day, and he still has a nice thick coat.

I find that a lint roller works wonders in this situation.

Can i get someone to confirm this is true? If so, i will begin shampooing and conditioning my back hair every day!

As an additional benefit, my back hair will be silky smooth and very manageable until it begins falling out.

I think everyone has missed the important question here:

Do you shampoo your carpet and if so, how often?

I shampoo my hair twice a day. Not sure if thats a bad thing. I basically shampoo every time I take a quick shower in the morning and at night.

I don't think I have to worry about losing my hair since everyone in my family has a lots of hair. I have to get my hair thinned out every time I get a haircut.

Stay away from shampoo. Always demand high quality genuine poo.

I keep my hair short enough that I don't use shampoo all that often, I can use "soap" for all I care, but as of late I have been running my toiletries and household cleaner purchases through the "cruelty cutter" app on my phone, quick and easy way to know that the products I buy are are not being needlessly tested on animals.

I've not tried either, and I'm not sold on the "no-poo" baking soda wash since it causes hair damage in some people's cases.

My wife rinses with apple cider vinegar and it seems to work well.

    Baking soda shampoo
    Vinegar rinse

Im not particular about one shampoo or another. I like to keep a variety of one or another. I have about 35 bottles of shampoo. All in the 3oz or less size. I shampoo everyday and I have no shortage of hair.
