Thank's D.S. for the heads up on that thread. I just posted over there. I agree it should be in alphabetical order. I mentioned that last week in Tones "Lame forum" thread. In fact I cross posted a link to that thread over in the passion thread in passion. I thought some of the regulars might get a kick out of Tones thread about the,Passion forum.

I have no passions. Completely dispassionate. Except about being passionate.
Passing interest is sufficient for everything, but being dispassionate.

Everything that I get passionate about gets banned/binned/locked by the mods. I do love a good Caturday though.

    I've been dissed.
I may not be a true OC guy, but I am making a dispassionate effort.

Id scrap the passion forum all together, its a breeding ground for unicorn milkers, rainbow chasers and candy cotton farters.

Its a cross between the Dr phil show, oprah winfrey show, Ellin Degenerate and the circle.

So let me get this straight as I have been following this along. So "they" are Human Resources and "we" are the O.C. personel. But "we" are putting Tones in charge of "they" [Human Resources]. Somewhat confusing but I'm sure once Tones get's settled in to his new position everything will run smooth as silk.

One things for sure, this place would be running like a well oiled machine if i was running the joint.
But Gregg n Francis know they would be out of a job real quick if they gave me a go, so because of self preservation on their behalf, they wont give me a go, they would be ancient history in no time at all.

That's why we decided you would be the best canidate to fill the Human Resources position. You could be in charge of patrolling the O.C. Official Roll Call thread. You know keeping tabs on who's
here and who's absent and tardy. Who's new who's
an old veteran, who left who returned. Any
disputes between personnel could all be funneled to you. You would be in charge of finding a common ground between individuals and handing out penalties as you see fit. So how about it Tones do you eccept this prestigious position of Human Resources Coordinator.

Before a final decision is made and such broad powers are given, we should at least define the scope of any corrective measures and punishment to be administered, by said appointee.

Agreed! We should list said powers and put it to a vote. Doing away with the riff raff and adding in any important duties necessary. As far as any punishment handed out that would be entrusted to the appointee at his or her's own discretion.

THe HR manager, when out in left field somewhere, draw from a pool of a triad of previously voted in individuals and delegate aforementioned powers in full and with prejudice.

The H.R. Manager / Coordinator shall control and manage any bike content posted in the O.C. Anyone found posting bike content shall face "the wrath of Tones" no questions asked. Penalty is and could be different per incident. And shall be totally and and unequivocally up to and at the H.R. managers discretion.

I feel like some sort of form should be filled out--in triplicate, if possible.

It shouldn't have any relevancy to the actual procedure, again, if at all possible.

Yes! Thats the beauty of it.
Now if we can determine the exact parameters of the H.R. Position. Any more thoughts on what he shoild be in charge of anybody, please list them. We will then put it to a vote. Once thats been done Tones, can slip into his new position as H.R. Manager / Coordinator for the O.C. Hopefully after the full list of responsibilities has been revealed Tones won't back out of this prestigious position.

And for every penalty handed out by the H.R. manager a merit badge will be forwarded to the H.R. manager. Some swag if you will, maybe a patch kit or a spoke or two. It's only fair that if the managet catches bike content posted in the O.C. he shall be awarded bike paraphernalia.

Prizes (booty) should be handed out to OC members at random so that a cottage industry is not created in OZ.

I'm good with a reasonable amount of power, but draconian measures should have some sort of peer review. This accomplishes more than one desirable outcome.
Limiting an ax wielding drunk on power Aussie and generating good feeling 'buy in' from the constabulary and general population.

I'm all for sweeping powers given to the Aussie! Then we can all revolt when faced with the inevitable abuse, and life will be so much more interesting We can set up puppet regimes with unlikely leaders, (Fuglio ??? [email protected]???)), and then shoot them all down when they too become drunk with power and self-importance Anarchy would become the norm, as it is meant to be in the OC!!!
As for rewarding anyone with bike parts, they are welcome to come and rummage thru my drawers any time!

you sayin' there is no better way to celebrate the great purge but with great purge? [email protected] stick started it not so pompously.

i believe we can only fill in the shadow HR manager position. the real HR managers are frantically discussing this developing story in order to come up with an appropriate and swift "who's the boss now biatches" response...

For those who are "they" and in charge of "we", I recommend an age limit and a troll limit in the OC. Them maybe we could enjoy some more "who", "what", "how" and "so" in peace.

Unforunately none of you have recognised our one BIG problem. Tones has yet to chime in on our grand scheme. After all he has been apppointed H.R. Manager / Coordinator. Yet he didn't have to lift a finger or appoint any of his political party to do any campaigning or put forth any cash. I think we all deserve a little feedback from thre master before we move forward.Tones??

Good ride--11 miles of mixed single and double. Got lost and found.
    Alright, back to business.
Show me where Tones's was duly appointed.
I'm new and at the same time not saying the Aussie isn't worthy or at least passable, but I don't recall any kind of consensus.
Please help...I'm slow in the uptake.

Should gone with Nic to learn Yudicky before venturing out myself.

    Passion

I am concerned about the absolute power you are giving to Tones. To hell with HRGuru, or what ever bull shit title you are giving him. You might as well call him Supreme Glorious Leader For Life.
You have no Checks and Balances to prevent him from becoming a ruthless dictator. No term limits. Nothing will slow down his thirst for power.
I know this was discussed somewhat earlier today. I was unable to share my thoughts at that time. I fear we will soon be spiraling downward with no possible recovery, save for a bloody, brutal coup. Years of strife, revolution, persecution, anarchy, rioting, looting, beastiality, bondage, Sado-Masochism running rampant on our streets. Look at what has happened in Syria and Egypt. Do you really think Tones would relinquish power that easily? WMDs? Syria and Iraq have nothing compared to what Tones could unleash on us. Do we really want that?

I volunteer as 'new blood' and because I think some 'balance' is needed at OC.
I pledge to bring that balance and to surround myself with a cabinet of individuals representing the spectrum.
OC is the greatest forum in the earth and needs to gain back that respect once afforded it by all who looked upon her.

i appreciate all your suckage, but in order to qualify - you must have survived one of the Big Gulag type of persecutions and exterminations of the OC. only then you may be considered as a worthy candidate.

being kicked in the taco at least once for a duration longer than 7 days in the last 12 months, is an asset in your resume.

OK guys, first id like to say thankyou all from the bottom of my heart, ive just read through this thread and i feel i owe it to you all to ACCEPT YOUR VISION AND BECOME THE KIM JONG/JIM JONES OF THE OC.

Its a great honour you have put faith in the Aussie to become the over lord of the OC.

I will lead for you great members, i will put my ass on the line in the way of copping more time out, i will give my own blood for you guys.

I will personally council any of you great people, any sexual issues no matter now diverse or shocking, any marriage or health issues, financial, mental health issues, did i say sexual issues?

Setterdude, you and i need to have a serious talk, i realise that because you are missing the end of your finger that you feel special, but its time for a lil chat buddy, your a bit out of control in the OC at the moment, i think you could be looking for a 7 day time out

As a gesture to you great mtbr members and my dear OC friends, im going to talk to setterdude and have him agree to chop the end of one of his other fingers off live on video for the rest of the OC.
    ARE YOU WITH ME OC?

''ITS NOT WHAT THE OC CAN DO FOR ME, ITS WHAT I CAN DO FOR THE OC' Thats my motto here, you dont see chum or rockcrusher with a motto like that do you punters.

WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU OC? Thats what im all about..

I LOVE YOU ALL LIKE BROTHERS AND SISTERS, AND THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH LOVING YOUR SISTER IS THERE, IVE DONE IT MANY TIMES....
Dont ever let the truth get in the way of a funny story....

Well--who am I to kick against a majority. Though I still haven't seen that.
Nevertheless the cultural dynamic at play here does seem nearly overwhelming.
I have no heart for the fight.
Instead--personality #6 will play in character passively aggressive.

Please make it the baby finger on the right hand. I think I deserve at least that consideration due to my efforts in 'fitting in' to this motley croo of self-appointed outcasts.

I had no idea you are missing the tip of one finger. That instantly qualifies you to be a shop teacher in the state of California, in case you didn't know that already.

I did not know that, but I'm pretty sure moving to CA is not a good idea--although my oldest daughter moved to Cardiff from Breck a few months ago.
    Imagine that! Breck to Cardiff!

Imagine that indeed! The San Diego county Cardiff? If so, that would make us practically neighbors! So worry not....if she should find her in need of any local assistance whatsoever, I am, sir, at her service!

Well enough of this talk about your lovely daughters. They chose a great place to move from to a great place to move to. Cardiff is a great little surf town. Small town atmosphere with just minutes to the big city of San Diego.

Setter, im putting my hand up for jules on the left, she looks like a lovely girl and theres no doubt i would be your dream son in law.
Can you please pass on my picture to her, its in the second half of the 'put a face to an avatar' thread in the OC,im nolding up a few kingfish.
what sort of a dowry are you offering buddy?

I realise you must be overwhelmed with pride now hearing about my offer, and im 99.99% certain that Jules will be interested.

Please if she likes she can PM me through your account, she might even want to send me a few pictures.

Please get back to me Setter, cheers
Dont ever let the truth get in the way of a funny story....

Well Tone's, although I appreciate your impassioned plea there are a couple of points that need addressing.
Dowrie? When you add 25% of your holdings to the family coffers which will be considered as proof of your sincerity, I'll consider a chaperoned visit of 1 hour. Jules will know within 5 minutes if you have potential, but is kind hearted and wouldn't want to see you emotionally devastated.
As far as your picture goes. I don't have the time to sift through all of that. There are other suiters, who's portfolio's are presented with requisite care.
I will offer one tip, as you seem to be well thought of.
She is brilliant and will see through any shenanigans with no delay.

I fell asleep, finally, but not for long enough. 4 hours doesn't cut it for me, these days, of sleep. Getting a really, really bad itch to buy a new fly rod, maybe my first R.L. Winston. Fark me. I think I'm bi polar... ride or fish, ride or fish? Idaho or Montana is calling me to get my butt up there before the snow starts flying and the bite shuts down, but part of me wants to do a late Sept Durango CO mountain bike trip, maybe in the Aspens near Mancos.

Has she decided yet what she's looking for in a man? Qualities? Besides tall, dark and handsome? If she was a Daddy's Girl, she'll be looking for someone just like her Pa.

Hey Settertude if you are seriously considering Tones as a suiter of your daughter. And would like to see if he has potential as "good breeding stock". I found his picture for you, I must say he is a handsome devil. He is on page 63 of the "Put a face to an avatar thread" Go here http://forums.mtbr.com/off-camber-of...ml#post9132676

I actually didn't find the original post by Tone's so I used deke505's duplicate post of the picture. That is post # 1608 on my end.

Can someone confirm that post # on their end??? Here's the link to the specific page (I hope):

I was wondering where you went. I bet the phone version of MTBR doesn't show post #s. And I think you are quite reliable DJ, lost cookies and post #s notwithstanding.

DJ is reliable. Like my pups greeting me at the door.
    Count on it.

    Oh, really sorry DJ.

Let us know when you are back online in full force and then we will continue with our pop shots at you/on you. The least we can do is to be considerate enough to wait for you to be able to witness the full brunt of our attack first hand.

Back in half force, damn phone battery is shot.

Anyway to think all I was doing was trying to get Settertude a chance at checking out Tones photo. To insure good breeding stock for a future with his beautiful daughter. After all there's nothing worse for a parent than being blindsided by some gnarly looking dude your little girl brings home. So Settertude is Tones the one.

All this effort and I get ran over by a herd of Buffalo.

That picture isn't enough. Tones has yet to respond to our terms.
Silence is what we are getting. Feigned disinterest?
    One can only guess.
