    Passing of a friend...

Our beloved Junior died today, he had a tumor that burst in his stomach
unexpectedly. He was a huge part of our family and we will miss him.

when my dog dies....i'll die. actually, sometimes i cant even look at her because i'm reminded how loveable and adorable she is (she's a mix, so it would hard to replicate that facial expression with another dog. she definitely has a unique sad face that just breaks my heart). Sorry for your loss

Wow, really sorry. Your dog was great looking and I can see tons of personality in it's eyes from the pics.

sorry for your loss mate, i have staffys and there is something special about dogs that really gets into every corner of my heart, in fact almost more than humans can, you two would have shared some really special times together, but everything that creates light must burn down at the same time as all of us will as well, keep you chin up mate, junior wouldnt want you to be sad for too long, easier said than done, you guys were lucky to have each other,, cheers mate

Damn Dude, so sorry for your loss He truly was a beautiful guy, as are all of our 4 legged friends, loyal and trusting to the very end. I loath to think about when that day may come for me and mine, I will be devastated, it's the hardest thing to over come when deciding to take on this special friendship.

Guys, thanks for all your kind words. It was a rough day yesterday and gotta say
today isnt much better. There is a empty spot here at home...
Going to hit the trails, and do the yard work to keep busy.

This thread is what sparked my thread. Offering support to one another. Sorry for your loss, man. As you know, I have a decision to make pending what I find out today. I can't stop periodically tearing up...

I can't even work right now - I'm so distracted with this.

This morning I cooked a hard boiled egg and tried to give it to him. He wouldn't even lift his head off the ground to eat that.

Anyway, good graces to you. Again, I am very sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss jkad. I just lost one at the end of February in a very similar way. It's rough. RIP Junior.
I'm enjoying my childhood way too much to ever give it up.

They are family members and when you lose one a part of you also dies. Gone but never forgotten.
    Sorry to hear about it.

So sorry to hear this. Reminds me I need to go find my worthless mutts and give 'em a hug.

He sure was a handsome boy, I am very happy for him that you gave him a great life he deserved.
