... and if we just ... Name that movie from a Screenshot...

Easy - post a screenshot of a movie and let others try to guess which flick it comes from...

Rule #1: Only post a new screenshot if you've been able to guess the last one.
Rule #2: If a screenshot has been successfully identified by "Bill", but "Bill" does not post a new screenshot within ten minutes, then it's up for grabs.
Rule #3: If a guess sits for over an hour (without hints) another poster can have a turn
Rule #4: Porn will get you banned on the spot.

Lucky Number Slevin is what's in the image URL.

    Slightly more obscure...

Edit: Just changed the image for one that doesn´t show Google image search results, just in case....Easy enough if you´ve seen the movie:

This thread is too complicated for me. The only one I've known is the Last of the Mohicans. While I know this is breaking Chum's rules, I need to lob a pass out to others struggling through this--

    Maybe this one

The diversion is over, now back to the nearly impossible screen shot challenge.

Guys, the rules (post screenshot only if guessed right the current) are for a good reason: avoid this otherwise nice thread turn into a real mess!

    no hipster here...

strangely, imdb lists this title as a 2005 in the main listing but then shows 2006 as well. your link also shows 2006.

    CHUM,

Didn't realize Disney, either out of desperation or out of paying tribute to the film, did their version of "Beauty and Beast" like this until I saw the 1946 movie. It's in my Criterion Collection but while looking online for a screen shot found a Blu-ray of it. Might have to order it then.

I am pretty sure it is "V for Vendetta"

One of my favorite movies, but its been a while since I have seen it. That is V coming out of the burning building during the big scandal, right?

Yes! First one to get it.

This is from the scene where inspector finch is visualizing the happenings recorded in the journal of now-dead dr. surridge, as she recalls the events leading up to the explosions at lark hill.

and yeah, texas, thats exactly what scene it is.

one of my all-time favorite movies.

Oh and for what its worth- thats not a screenie I found online. If you look closely you can see the frame of windows media player... i took the screen myself.

while playing full screen, hit the "print screen" button, then paste into your favorite imaging program- I used photoshop, but for that matter windows paint would work. save it wherever, then attach it to your post, or upload it to somewhere like photobucket or flickr, then link it in your post.

    Big Terry,

LOL. Thought about taking a screen shot from a movie I was watching today and putting it up but my camera batteries were dead. It's a Blu-ray so couldn't view it on my computer and import it that way.

Hubby gave the title as soon as I showed him the screen shot a few minutes ago. I thought hubby had a copy of "V for Vendetta" somewhere. Hubby just said he did have a copy and said Amazon.ca has a Steelbook (metal case) case for your movie if you are into specialty cases.

Hubby is the movie guy at our house and I tease him that if he doesn't have it, he doesn't want it or it's in the mail. He even knew there was a Steelbook case and where to get it when I showed him the screenshot. He's even got a shelf dedicated to Steelbook cases. He's got SOS..Shiny Object Syndrome. Most men do.

I'm getting better at knowing stuff, but he's the true genius. My gift to his obsession is that I can find the titles he wants faster in the store than he can and that I can pick out what he doesn't have or would like when he's just browsing.

I think Leopold Porkstacker? Thread is getting difficult to follow, would be better if OP's rule was followed.

She was the first to guess my screenshot from V for Vendetta. She is entitled to post one of her own. Leopold didnt even guess at the V screenshot, he gets to post one for guessing Burn After Reading.

    They can both post one.

Close big terry...but if we have multiple guessing on different screenshots things will get confusing

Rule #1: Only post a new screenshot if you've been able to guess the last one.
Rule #2: If a screenshot has been successfully identified by "Bill", but "Bill" does not post a new screenshot within ten minutes, then it's up for grabs.

rules are edited in my first post as well...

    thanks!

Already?...It's only been up for 55 minutes. Maybe we need to establish rules for being stumped.

One of the Bourne Identity movies?

There's another one on the tip of my tongue..driving me nuts and can't find it while rummaging through hubby's collection. Would help if I was better at knowing actor's names.
