    ^lol

FIL's 90th birthday party tonight, BBQ at my wife's brother's place down the street. I'm not going to hang out, but maybe I'll walk over and yell happy birthday over the fence. They're all pretty much done with social distancing.

Yard work today and tomorrow. Yay.

BBQ at our place Monday, just the 3 of us (me, wife, daughter).

We just "finished" cleaning up/clearing an old cemetary thats on a piece of property we own.

I bought the property a couple years ago and have been gradually trying to restore it. We've uncovered gravestones that have laid hidden, probably for decades.

Every few weeks, a few hours are spent moving fallen trees, cutting away brush, etc.,

There are over 300 known gravesites, many of whom are Civil War, Spanish American War, and WW1 veterans.

My current Memorial Weekend plans are a long soak in the tub with many beers.

This is a photo (below) of what it looked like when we first bought it.

Yeah, they don't complain. Not often, anyway.

And I should also explain that I don't live on that particular property.

that is sweet!!! I am jealous in so many ways!!!

My step son graduates from HS tomorrow, so that is the plan. We rode pavement this morning since all of the dirt around here is under feet of water. I don't see dirt trials opening till July...

gonna ride till my butt hurts on Monday - probably BMX, then play drumset till my ears hurt, and then probably cook out.

Gonna try and lay in the pool later, but that'll only be for a few mins. I seem to be very sun sensitive now! Later gonna grill my famous marinated flank steak, (Worcester Sauce and coarse Dijon mustard being the main ingredients), cut it super thin, and lay into a healthy green salad Might go for a walk when it's light, but I did 2 miles yesterday, so today might be a bit shorter...

skip the worcester and go with Dale's seasoning. I swear the sun had been more intense lately.... Im outside all day every day, but it has been extra hot in the sun. find some shade and it great.

I'll try Dales, but why fuk with perfection?!?
I believe you are correct about the intensity of the sun. Maybe something to do with reduced pollution levels lately? Even tho we are nothing like as hot for late May as many years, when I do go outside, it is pretty nuts. I gotta watch out for melanoma too, so that's another thing... I have what is known as an 'Arena tan' right now, and I haven't spent time in an arena for months and months!

Well, the marinated flank steak was all it could have been! We have a bunch left over too, so I'm looking forward to steak sandwiches for lunch, and maybe steak and eggs later

Similar circumstances here. Finishing up the rework of the four wheeler little Bro passed over to me about 9 years ago. Never had time to use it much but decided to renew it for use on the place in Missouri. More a tool than a toy. These things are an impressive feat of engineering that is probably taken for granted by folks who have never torn into one.

Yesterday afternoon after reinstalling the complete fuel system I fired it up.
Purrs like a little kitten. Very impressed having reworked the complete fuel and exhaust system. Not bad for a 17 year old reclaim of a hand me down. It has a big twin on it so it should do the job.

Been trying to get my hands on an older 4wheeler that doesn't run just to fix it up. My neighbor has a Polaris 650 sitting there rotting away because it won't start. Been trying to make a deal with her but she doesn't want to let it go.

Back when I first got it I did an ignition conversion on it. That was a simple job to do that was a big step up, but it eventually led to what I am doing now. These old ones suck you in like that. The carb rebuild led to the intake manifold, led to the spark plugs and cables, and the fuel pump and hoses, then the heat tape, and the thermostat, and exhaust system. The air filter led to the clutch belt. 4 different fluids in the front and rear diff.,transmission, and engine.

Like pulling a loose thread in an old jacket, but fun.

BBQ at the neighbors and drank beer, Yesreday everything opened up so I hung out at the bar and watched a band. Today I rode to the site of a WW2 plane crash. They flew into the mountain in heavy fog in 1941. Almost made it. Then changed the oil and sparkplugs on the Jeep and planted some ghost peppers in the garden. Thinking about a six pack now.

OMG! You went in water that deep without a snorkel kit?

    Seriously though, wish I had a pic...saw a snorkel on a sprinter.
