    Looking for cheap in-the-ear headphones?

I am. Just saw these on USAToday's site, the MeElectronics M9P. You can find them for $20 and they're pretty highly rated.

    Check out the reviews: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=MeElectronics+M9P

    These $20 in-ear headphones are a steal

Great for riding the trails, both buds in, blasting at FULL VOLUME!!!

This isn't going to be a thread like your skateboard thread. Where you asked for advice then after times taking advice you bailed on us leaving us high and dry. I'm still wondering if you bought an electric skateboard or you're in the middle of a skateboard mountain park patent.

Working on it, still. Got the first foot of cement laid up at Northstar. Unfortunately, if I told you where it was, I'd have to kill you.

    Hmmmm....

Back in topic I've never been an ear bud head phone type. I couldn't handle not knowing [sound wise] what's going on around me. Especially out on the trail I'm in it not just for the exercise but the get away nature experience as well.

That was a joke, to bring out the trail music Nazis. I only listen to earbuds at home or with my laptop, or both.

The music playing in my head helps to drown out all those voices I hear.

don't worry about the voices tomcat, it's only when you start hearing answers that there is a problem.

I can't speak for anywhere but California but in this state, it is against the law to be outdoors with both ears covered (including in your car while driving). Citations, but more often warnings, have been given on this matter.

Personally, I think it's a good law. Can't tell you how many fools I've come upon as I am ringing my bell repeatedly to let them know that I am approaching from behind, only to discover that they cannot hear me because of having ear buds in both ears. It's scared the crap out of many and I think they had it coming.

We all know why headphones and mountain bikes are a bad combo. However, since this is the Off Topic forum, the mentioning of mountain bikes is verboten. If I wanted to start a civilized discussion on headphones and riding, I would have PM'd my buddy Picard to start one over in the General forum.

It's not mountain bikers I see using them, it's walkers/joggers. Mountain bikers are the supreme beings of Mother Earth and they can do NO WRONG.

Lol! That song was released 31 years ago. So it no longer applies to "kids these days".

Great song or rap or whatever you call it. I just crack up at the lyrics. First time I've seen the video though.
