I literally scraped all of my knuckles bloody in one swipe against the rear cassette today while trying to fix this broken link. Was in a hurry as thunder and lightning was closing in on us and we were ten miles from the truck. Sorry, no blood and guts pics.

I mix my own at home. The ratio of tequila to mixer might be a little skewed towards the tequila.

Coincidentally I had just finished my third marg when this phone river thing happened. I was leaning on a railing that overhung the River texting with one hand when it ďliterallyĒ fumbled out of my hand. I watched it tumble and smack against about three boulders before it landed in the water between two of them. I had to run 30í down the handrail then enter the boulder field and return back 30í on the shore of the river. Once I got down there I fumbled trying to figure out what two boulder crevices it fell between. Searching frantically between boulders I finally found it in about a foot of water between two boulders. Iíd guess it was under water about 4 minutes. Rushing back up to the sidewalk and drying it out with my shirt. Pulling the phone case off and drying it. I then checked to see if it was ok. It lit up and was on the last screen I had used. Once I switched screens it shut off and went black. I plugged it in once in my truck and drove 45 minutes towards home. Still nothing, straight to the phone store for a new one.

You could try covering it in a bowl with rice.

I have never tried this method, but have heard tales where it has revived devices that were submerged.

Funny when we break something, we think ďIíll have to replace that with my next paycheck.Ē But break the phone and itís straight to the store to get a new one. Not stopping by the house, not stopping at the grocery store, not stopping for the funeral procession. Get the hell outta my way, I need a phone. Lol

I have used this method on old phones and it worked. Not sure if it would work on a smart phone though. Worth a try if I had some rice.

I think Sir K means it would be too convenient/easy access at home. I'm with him, I'd be drinking 'em every night.

My son tried the dunked phone in rice, didn't work. But worth a try.

That literally sounds like the recipe 7-11 would use for a margarita slurpee. Way too much sugar. Pro-tip, cut back on the sugar, you can drink even more tequila, and not feel like death in the morning.

My go to for margaritas now:

    Sparkling water,
    fresh key lime juice (sparingly),
    fresh orange juice (sparingly),
    a lot of tequila,
    agave nectar (very sparingly),
    salted rim if you prefer.
I would advise not taking my advice.

    my margarita literal arizona style:
2 parts fresh squeeze lime juice
    1 part cointeau
    2 parts anejo
    ice
    Salted rim

consume with fresh fried corn chips and homemade pico de gallo, outside preferably.

    My go to:

    Tequila
Pre mixed Agave Sweet and sour
    Ice
    No salt

Iím not a fan of lime juice or OJ in my margs. Iím not opposed to drinking them if put in front of me though.

I literally donít understand why thereís no official margarita recipe thread on the OC.

    Anyway hereís mine.
1 pt fresh squeezed lime juice
1 pt triple sec with a healthy dose of Grand Mariner added
    2 pts 100% agave Reposado*
Shake well in a large cocktail shaker with lots of ice, serve in a 16 oz tumbler, no salt unless you want to drink additional margaritas since salt literally makes you more thirsty**.

*Must be 100% agave or no deal. Personally I prefer habanero-infused Reposado. I literally infuse my own.

**Iíve literally made the mistake of having more than one of these. Couple times.

When I was in AZ for business a few years ago I went to the Bass Pro shop in Mesa, to buy a fly fishing reel. One of the customers I was talking to while I was waiting told me to go upstairs and try the habanero margaritas in the restaurant. Literally, first time I ever heard of (a) habanero margaritas, and (b) Bass Pro had restaurants inside.

Not my house but my parents house, also my office. We don't call the room the "bar" but the chart room. It's full of fishing stuff and maritime charts of Puget Sound.

We host parties for clients and friends, Corporate parties, done multiple weddings and receptions, and just random fun. We did an awesome Gilligan's island costume party for the 50th anniversary. That's why There is a picture of Alan Hale Jr. on the bar.

I literally just got eaten alive by mosquitos.

    Not completely, mind you.

It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.

That literally happens... I went out and said damn the sun hurts . After working on the house all day I wanted some beer. It's a long walk to my garage, like 150ft from my house. Had to drive to the local feed store that sells beer thank god. It's hard to drive a manual when the shifter is literally too hot to touch.
