A definite plus for multi-use trails....no need for annoying bells and such with one of those baby's going off full-blast!

Maybe IMBA will adopt it as the new standard.

That's the thing. When you see these guys whizzing down the road or skimming the sides of mountains your first thought is 'Wow, that guy is so cool'.

Then you consider the risks he is taking for no good reason and the amount of time and effort he's devoting to his pointless adrenalin rush and think 'Oh no hang on, he's an idiot!'.

Yep that's today's adrenaline junkie society. The stupidity grows with each passing year.

Did you see the wing-suit guy who hit the bridge? Don't think there were two bits of him left hanging together.

I think the adrenaline rush has always been with us, that is a great part of what inspires new discoveries. Today's experimentation with wing suits is just yesteryear's licking of a beaver's ass to find out it tastes of raspberries...

I did not see that, but I heard Jeb Corliss discuss it from his rather unique vantage point.
Which would consist of flying through his pal's body fluids and viscera.

All this extreme stuff has something to do with how Natural Selection works with our species. We tend to like to think that we are above that kind of brute application of the laws of existence, that somehow we are exempt from the binary live/die-effect.
    But we're not.

In fact, in the long run, we're all dead.

Corliss himself says that he hopes to die a death similar to his pals' at the Golden Gate. And he hopes it goes viral on YouTube the next day.

Odds are pretty good that he will get his wish.

Ray because I've got to get back to work. More simply put.

I came here thinking "Top Gun" and of course since this is the OC, it couldn't be that easy. My mind immediately went here....

That's pretty funny and it would fit right in with this thread.

He almost did himself in at Table Mountain.

A lot of people in the BASE community will be glad to see him gone. He's burned too many points just to feed his fame.
