    I can't believe I lasted 90 minutes

I got back in the saddle today with the wife. I spent 90 minutes breathing heavy, sweating and complaining about how I'm not as flexible as I was last summer. She was patient and gave me encouragement the whole time. She could have easily finished without me but she waited and we finished together.

    I definitely need a shower.

It's a good thing there were no mechanical failures! That would have been embarrassing, but I hear there are quick fixes for all sorts of failures.

Nothing worse than being accused of being the wrong kind of fast.
I can barely get my mouth around it.

What really helped was the nap afterwards. I should have taken it a bit slower, I think I strained my lower back a bit.

Assuming that you are talking about riding mountain bikes, I have just one question. Who has she been riding with to stay in such good shape without you?

She's riding solo right now. She enjoys the hills and valleys when she's by herself.

I'm still in awe that you lasted 90 whole minutes. The last time I went with a ride with her I only made it 9 minutes...what's your secret?

Last time I tried that with your wife, I ended up scratched and bloody and bruised.
Sometimes, I question the value of my content.

Quit yer naggin'. I hope these post in the right order...

Yesterday I found a full Bud on the side of the road. It was full and in glass so I picked it up and poured some for my homies. It was perfect timing because one of my "anti vibration" bar end plugs had vibrated out. Taken with the iDevice.

The shot of the wife is from last summer. One of us noticed the sheep stuck in the fence and she was concerned it was in pain. (I had nothing to do with putting a toy sheep in a farmer's fence.)

Yesterday when I returned from the ride Fella greeted me. He's saying "next time take your house key dumbass." The wife had gone to the store so I relaxed with him for maybe 10 minutes before she returned.

I had ridden out to the Trek factory and back but there's nothing worth taking pictures of... Here's a statue that's in the other direction and is worthy of contemplation.
