Have you ever been in a rush?....

This coming off of a Coronavirus depression of sorts. Trying to escape the impending doom. I come here for a mental escape, what do I see? Coronavirus discussions everywhere. Expected for sure, but I would also expect some to be discussing other topics. I get it we are inundated about it on the every news site media. We are doomed so it would seem, or not. Who knows, even the ones who should be protecting us have no clue. Itís a nightmare.

Back to the thread at hand.

Have you ever been in a rush? Share your stories.

    I am as we speak.

Break out your stories, Iíll share mine later. Iím a bit mentally drained from this Coronavirus inundation.

So, you're inundated by Coronavirus discussions so you start a new one?

I'd rather discuss CV than have another Ritard thread.

I'm tired of being inundated by idiocy emanating from the White House.

Not sure what you mean by your question: Have you ever been in a rush? Like, in a hurry? No, none of us have.

    Signed,

I think he meant to ask "Have you ever been in a Rush video?", but forgot to add 'video'.

And no, I have never been in a Rush video.

I do like their "Subdivisions" video. It would have been neat to be in that one.

Caught em in Arkansas. Iíve been retired almost 4 years now, so I try not to get in a rush. Probably the best thing about being retired is just that, no rush. I donít miss the stress of the rat race one bit.

On my weekend hike in the desert I had to shit so bad it was crowning. I dropped my pack but didn't notice the belt pouch with my phone slip off. After finishing my business I put my pack on and rushed down the trail to catch up with my mates. A group of hikers one day behind us found it (the phone, not the buried steamer) and was able to trace it back to me. It's in the mail as we speak.

    How's that DJ?

I have never been in a rush. even when I was attacked by a wild dog I stopped at my buddy's house for a beer before going to the ER.

although I think my wife was attempting to break the sound barrier in her hyundai on her way to meet me there.

The thrill of the catch. The challenge of tricking the fish into biting. The great outdoors. The peacefulness.

Ha! Me too. I made sure I got a beer before I went to the ER after my crash. As I was leaving for my third and final lap, I had told one of the race workers to save a beer for me, I'd be back. Little did I know what condition I'd be in when I returned.

That's a great explanation of fishing, the best I've ever seen.

I moved to the less congested flatland for pavement riding safety. Felt less connected to mtb riding. Recently my fiancee asked me for a bike to ride off pavement. Thinking gravel/ bikepacking...

I fish and most of the time is catch and release. mainly because I don't really like fish. Well fresh water fish. I prefer fly fishing most of the time.
