thought about a plane ride, but I like to drive. Don't have to deal with parking, rental car, returns, baggage and all that. All our stuff is with us and ready.
We can do it in about 12 hrs. I just don't remember how bad the 210 was a couple yrs ago.

Yes, the 210 is a nightmare in the afternoon (specifically through the San Gabriel Valley) on weekends, just like it is during the week in the afternoon.

Where in AZ are you headed?

The straightest shot is to pass right through Northern Los Angeles via the 210. The only stretch of the 210 that get's regularly backed up on the weekend is through the San Gab Valley, as I mentioned before. I doubt going East is going to be much of an issue on a Sunday because everyone will be coming back into town from the other direction. On Saturdays, it sucks. On Sundays, you'll be OK. A little slowing won't kill you.

You'll be passing within one mile of my home as you move through.

Drive safe, that's one hell of a long drive.

If FB had a minute he could drop off a homemade apple pie of sorts.

Yes. Undoubtedly. It's unmistakeable. You'll never forget it. In fact you'll down right regret taking that route. I'm talking scarred for life, and scared for life for that matter. Never the same again. Nightly nightmares. Daily hallucinations. A burning sensation over all of your skin. A stinging in your eyes. Tingling sensation in your finger tips and in your toes. Acid reflux. Extreme bloating. Migraine headaches. A metallic taste in your mouth. Swollen tongue. The Rickets. Bloody stool. Slurred speech. Blurred vision. Achy joints. Cramping muscles. The inability to hold in urine. All of these things are sure to let you know when you are passing through....

Thanks for that rocker. I just threw up a tiny bit in my mouth. But I swallowed it back down. Gross!

That looks a LOT like El Paso from the air (Texas)... and a bit of Meheeco, (Meheeco), thrown in...
