Farewell Peter Green... RIP old chap!

One of the very Greats has passed away.

As one of the founders of Fleetwood Mac, he came to prominence. Please do yourselves a favor if you do not know him and go check out some of his earlier stuff with them: Albatross, Man of the world, Green Manalishi, etc etc just to name a few... Sadly his vast depth of talent was denied us a long time ago because of mental illness, but he has been recording more stuff more recently.
    It's all Here. Now.

Heard that on the radio this morning. Another huge talent in the music world lost. And RC sorry for your loss.

    R.I.P. Peter.

Haha... One of the best guitar based songs ever. I remember hearing it when it first came out and being blown away. I was a big fan of that line up in the late 60s.

"Don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to...
I can't help about the shape I'm in,
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin...

    Oh well...

I came across this recording some time ago. Listened to it many times since then. So much darker and creepy than the later cover version most people are familiar with.

Sorry to hear that. I recently discovered early Fleetwood Mac. They were blues band first. It's really good music.

Oh man this sucks! Listening to Meatflood Whack whilst a child growing up helped open up my eyes to great music. Only ever listened to them as a band… only album that really ever resonated with me was Rumours. Only a couple decades later did I discover their early stuff. I knew one day all the great artists (musicians and actors) would kick the bucket. Just sucks seeing all that amazing talent die off. By the way, how in the hell is Mel Brooks still alive??? The day he dies will surely suck for me, as he is the reason I am so goddamn warped and twisted.
