Yep. Kenya. Once back in 2003 and the last time in 2010. No need to ever go back there again.

Nothing compared to what you've done, but while in the U.S. Navy I stayed in a killer hotel on the beach in Kenya...1987. Went on a camera safari too, had a great time.

I go to S Africa at least 3 times a year for work. I see a lot of MTBs there around Pretoria and in Cape Town. Next time I have a little time there, I plan on taking the bike with... one of my local colleagues there used to ride competitively for the S African national squad, and he is keen to show me around...

I spent a couple summers in Zambia 🇿🇲. Interesting place. My heart still aches for those people.

Would love to go to SA and meet up with a local botanist to explore the fynbos. Truly amazing ecology going on there. Glad you had a great trip.

Actually I'm kinda interested in what it'd be like I'm some of the least populated regions of the world, like Mongolia, but honestly, I don't think I could hang.

so cool! My wife got to take a trip to South Africa when she was in college. It was a pretty amazing trip for her.

A friend of mine volunteered at the Cape Epic this year. It was pretty amazing seeing her pics. She got to meet and chat with a ton of the top pro racers there.
