After 9.9 years, I broke it off in my ex girlfriend, ahem, with. She wasn't happy. Hell hath no fury and all that.

I came home to an empty house. Even the ice trays were gone. My clothes, tools and sporting goods were all that was left. She even took my two hunting dogs.

This wasn't in SD but in Lake Arrowhead.

It was a small price to pay.

Ex's in San Diego, wtf?! I've got plenty of ex's in San Diego ...

One time, crazy ole' lady (37, I was 24) kicked my ass to the curb. I thought I had grabbed all my shit. Next morning she comes into my office, arms full of clothes, and throws them across my desk!

... yeah, she worked in the same building.

    Good times! ha.

Same here, plenty of exís in San Diego. This story is not about my ex that has my storage and is kind enough to hold it for me.

This story is about an ex prior to her. Met her at a sports bar and dated for 3 months. Broke up and six months later Iím in the same sports bar. Itís packed, standing room only. As the Padres were in the World Series, 1998. I see her in passing and head to opposite side of the bar. About 10 minutes later I feel liquid running down my back and face. WTF! I turn around just in time to see her rushing through the crowd. She poured a beer over my head. As I turn and sheís running away a bouncer jumps on me like I did something. They kicked me out of the bar without even looking for her. Crazy biatch! They wouldnít even let me back in to get my credit card that they held behind the bar as a running tab. I had to go back the next evening for that. I was 86íed from the bar for 6 months.

The next time I saw her I was working at Home Depot. She knew I worked there. This was three years later. Iím walking a truck driver from one end of the building to the other to do some paperwork. We are walking across the front end in front of the registers. Hardly anyone in the store. Sheís walking towards us. In passing she gives me this evil stare. My heart sunk, the truck driver comments as we approach. ďCheck this one outĒ, she was a looker, as we pass he sees the look she gave me and says. ďWow if looks could killĒ. I had to explain the whole story above to him, gave me the creeps. Glad I never saw her again.

I got a killer deal on a nicely modified Jeep wrangler from a lady that got it in her divorce. She had no idea what she was selling. I bet her ex was pissed.

I kinda felt bad - but quickly got over it

Well, not in San Diego but I did have a girlfriend who moved in with me back in the late 90s, only for us to break up a few months later. When I came home from work one night all my furniture was gone. Meanwhile she had "no idea" where it could be, but of course she couldn't tell me where she was staying either.

In the early 00s I dated a girl who made the drunk chick at the beginning of "40 Year Old Virgin" look like a paragon of self control and rationality. That was fun.

Another ex story comes to mind. I was fresh out of 10 year live in relationship. My brother just happened to be just out of a 3 year. We went out one night for a couple of drinks at the Brigantine, La Mesa, San Diego. We ended up meeting two ladies who were out together.

Fast forward.....we both started dating them. About 3 months in, my brother and I went out again just for bro. time. After a great night of tacos and beers, we returned back to his house where my vehicle was parked. We pulled into his driveway and no sooner got out of his vehicle and a car pulled up behind us. We realized it was the two ďfriendsĒ we were dating. My brothers girl was driving mine was in the passenger seat.

We both chose our sides and walked up to talk to them. My brothers girls window went down and they were over there chatting away. My girls window stayed up. She was staring at me through the window with this crazed stare. She wouldnít roll her window down. About 5 minutes of begging I was done. I basically said screw it! and drove off. She called me the next day and the following day and so on and so on. I never answered.

Looking back I did the right thing but kind of screwed up with the timing. Her sons girl was up for Playmate of the year with Playboy. My girl Hef wanted for an over 30 shoot. There was a huge party planned at the mansion for her the following week. We were both [all four obviously] invited with all expense paid, limo from San Diego to the mansion and back. I never knew what happened, I didnít go.

Girls broke up with me all the time, so no crazy stalkers.

There was one girl I worked with (many years ago) we went on a couple dates. One day we agreed to meet at my place, gave her my key because she was getting off earlier from work.

I get home, she had cooked dinner, did all my laundry, clean my entire apt. Guys, we went on 2 dates, that was the second...and last. It sort of pissed me off she took the liberty of going through all my stuff. She never knew it bothered me. It just freaked me out.lol

A girl I was dating cooked for me, bought me clothes, hemmed up a few pants, stuff like that.

That all stopped after we got married.

Haha..which is what hit me a few days later. Still time to reconcile but my ego kept me from it. Yes, in hindsight it was an insane decision, oh well.

I'm lucky. I get the same with my wife. Been together for 30 years and she pretty much lets me do what I want and I'm the same. Pretty much do what ever we want together though so it works out...

BTW, NDD, you owe me an apology. If I tell a story on here itís true. I donít need to make up crap. The year was 1998. The centerfold was from San Diego. Iím not going any further than that, do your due your homework if you doubt me. She was high school sweethearts with the ladies son I was dating. After she became famous she dumped him and married a pro baseball player. She is also an actress that played several roles in some early 2000 films. I never knew her, just met her. Funny thing is before I started dating the mother of her boyfriend she used to hang out on occasion with her boyfriend at the lake I jet skied at. A very small area we all congregated at. Quite the distraction in her mini thong.

And you, you with the memory bank of a gnat. Iíve told the same story on here before. You pushed me for more info. which I provided. Of course it may have been 3 or so years ago when I told it. Having known you for years I wouldnít expect you to remember anything past a week.

Well I didnít wanna tell this story but now Iím gonna. I had an ex that called me once to say she wanted me to have all of our pictures (she was a photographer, so we had many pictures together). So I show up at her place of employment to pick them up and sheís standing out front of the building when I pull in. I pull up next to her and before I can even say hello she throws the box into my truck, hitting the steering wheel and nearly taking my head off. She threw it so hard several of the pictures went flying out the passenger side window. Then did a little victory stomp back to the bldg. I didnít even get to say bye, I was in shock. I thought the whole deal was pretty amicable, until that lol

Mine was just a blur of trying to ingest her bipolar disorder after her professing her deep mad passionate love to me a few weeks prior. Briefly came back into my life a year later, but was butthurt that Iíd kinda slept with a former coworker the night before; three weeks later the bipolar thing came back again and she and I were intimate one last timeÖ Iím still perplexed to this day.

We knew each other. She was kinda fixated on me. It happened. When it happened, I honestly had no idea that the otherwise sexy yet bipolar ex was going to make a repeat cameo into my life. This happened in early 2018. I donít know who to trust anymore.

I kinda thought we had a future together. I need someone who can commit to an endeavour of lasting promise. Iím sort of that odd fellow who isnít merely looking to get laid and leave it at that. I have lasting qualities, so the crazy ones keep telling me.

Pig, I know youíre being sarcastic but it really is sensory overload there. So much to choose from youíre bound to end up with a freako in the mix.

And Bob, next time hit the bars along Pacific Beach boardwalk day or night. Always something going on no matter what day of the week. The downtown scene is fun also but a very young crowd mostly. I prefer the beach scene bars myself.

Oh my, I can tell already this is going to be a fun one to read top to bottom.
Sorry to / for those of you in advance that have suffered a serious down side or the emotional 'baggage'.
I'll ask now though .... does anyone or some consider damage-control ahead of time as per personal belongings or 'revenge' damges ? It seems an obvious potential to me.

Yeah, DJ's stories have heart and soul, good details and trivial fluff - things hard to fake because you can tell they are written in the moment and that moment is from the best of his memory.
He never paints himself the hero or if he does, he's the imperfect hero. His ring of authenticity !!

I almost always have to do a bit of research for my stories/history from older experiences. My memory is such that details are sometimes a bit of a fog and I have to dig a bit to get things right.

I have heard similar anecdotes from divorced or jilted buddies. One hooked up w/his ex for some retaliation romance (she dumped him), and another out of a deep-seated anger at his wife's philandering ways (though they never officially split).

I donít recognize it looked it up and it looks like it started after I left Rochester. Mission Valley is in San Diego.

Check this out, you may find it funny being from Rochester. Off topic of the thread, I was in a bar having dinner last night. Started talking with the guy next to me. Mostly about wildlife encounters. Come to find out he went to Brockport College [New York] back in the day. We started talking about the crazy times in that little town. My uncle owned The Canal Side Pub on The Erie Canal which was one of the main go to hot spots for the college kids back in the day. I worked as a bartender / DJ there for several months in 1984. The first words out of his mouth about the bar scene in that little town was naming my uncles bar. Lol

At the time I lived above the bar in a small apartment. An old colonial house was attached to the old cobblestone lined bar where my aunt and uncle lived. Talk about some good times being a bartender and living above the bar at age 23.
