Hint: The plastic cup is not part of the footage. It's a png file on a layer above the footage.

The sound track comes from actually throwing the cup at the camera.

I should change the rules to include; No "compilation" or "best of" videos. There's so many of those that just regurgitate the same shit over and over again, it's a waste of time, even tho some bits may be funny.

^ I like how that on the last one the lady said "we just took out half the house" rather than "he just took out half the house". She probably had demanded he get out there and do it but I'm surprised she would take any responsibility!

I don't like cutting trees down, even though I'm not as dumb as these folks. I did drop a big branch and bend a rung in my ladder (I was sitting in the tree so I wouldn't get hit or knocked off) and another that landed on my chainlink fence, though.

Itís a scary thing if youíre not schooled in doing it correctly. Thereís a trick or two to make it fall in the direction you want it to. Not that I know how. The scariest one was the huge diameter tree that split in half before it fell. Check it out at 2:22. Iíd be surprised if he lived through that.

Thatís at Glamis sand dunes, Imperial sand dunes. Iíve ridden out there and itís just a free for all of all kinds of vehicles going in all directions. Those guys had no spotters, just ripping around haphazardly. Life flight have there hands full hauling people out of there on any given weekend. The holiday weekends are insane. Back when I was young and dumb and pulling those stunts. We were ripping around and I went off a dune and flew right over a quad. I about shit my pants on that one. There are times when weíd set up spotters going off a certain dune but most of the time itís just a free for all ripping around.

^ Kewl video, but I'm calling a foul. It's from Vimeo, not U toob.

However, if this phase one of "U toob" becoming the generic term for an online video, much like "Coke" is generic for a cola drink, or "Kleenex" is for any facial tissue, then it should be allowed.

However, if this phase one of "U toob" becoming the generic term for an online video, much like "Coke" is generic for a cola drink, or "Kleenex" is for any facial tissue, then it should be allowed.
Yes, any video is fine. I got the U Toob thing from you, and I didn't feel like calling the thread "Daily YouTubes", or "Daily Videos".

Are we treating "U toob" as singular (video) or plural (videos, videii, videae)?

Time lapse of a stinkhorn mushroom. Sorry, it won't embed. I posted this in the botany thread but thought it would be enjoyable here.

It could also be a verb: "Imma U-toob you tryin to ride that skinny".

Which would mean "I'm going to video your failed attempt to ride that skinny, and then edit the footage with some added Benny Hill music, and host it on a free online video sharing site".

It's amazing isn't it? I have little doubt that she went in thinking she was going to break him but Peterson clearly had the confidence that comes from knowing what you are talking about. But he wasn't rude or harsh on her. He kept calm and logical while his would-be tormentor slowly lost her mind!

I don't agree with Peterson on everything but he's a class act.

I assume he just skimmed thru here and didn't even click on the vid to see what the song was before commenting.

We should call him "The Breeze".

Thirteen when she recorded this, Grace Vanderwaal just turned 14.

This is a cover, but most of her performance is original material, some of it written when she was 12. This is the most awesome musician I have seen in a long time, and I assume she will get even better.

I've always loved those. I never thought about building one that is two dimensional (on a plane) like that, that would save a whole lot of time and allow for much easier adjustment. Might have to try that.

Yeah right, Iíve gone off cliff ledges skiing before. Not nearly as scary as that but landing and skiing out is a big part of it.

    Holy shit! Reverse...

A couple that were friends of my parents retired in the mountains of Colorado. They built a small cabin in a canyon that off shot the Big Thompson Canyon. As they slept one night a storm came in and a giant boulder let lose. It rolled right over the cabin killing both in their sleep. Hereís the bizarre part. Several years later their 30 something son was driving the Big Thompson canyon and a boulder let lose and crushed his car killing him.

It is crazy odds. Iíve searched the net for the story but havenít found it. Iíll have to pick my dads brain about it soon. My mom passed in 2012 and she was the one with the good memory. I doubt my dads going to have much info. on it, but Iíll try. If he remembers their last name it may help in my search of the story.

This video of an Edinburgh bus driver recently missing a car and oncoming traffic went viral. The driver was a woman, Charmaine Laurie, and the video was out before she even finished her shift. When she got home her husband showed her the video and said 'bet you couldn't drive like that?' and she said 'Well actually...

Yeah, it's a tidy bit of driving.

Just so happens that I just picked up my wife, daughter and son from the station. Carpark is on a slope, virtually no cars in and mostly covered in foot-deep virgin snow. Guess what I did while waiting for them? ;0)

Rube Goldberg Trick Shot Machine | Harlem Globetrotters

We teamed up with students from Georgia Tech's colleges of Industrial Design and Music to bring this trick shot machine to life. They built this entire machine from scratch and produced the soundtrack that goes along with it. This project was done in advance of the Globetrotters' games in Atlanta on March 3 and 10.

Geez, when I was in the program we designed mailboxes and hairdryers.

As a bonus to this, one of the professors on the project was the designer at Thomson responsible for their seat posts and stems.

This post is a natural product. Variances in spelling & grammar should be appreciated as part of its character & beauty.
