If anyone lives in AZ, this is a good one too... not for forecasts, but for rainfall records... hours of fun for all the family!

Yeah, the weather.gov sight has the map where you can pinpoint a spot and it updates weather at that exact location.

Actually I think weather.com kinda sux. Too much like a news site but once you get past that stuff it isn't bad. The other ones people are posting here just have more weather nerd features. Go check out the 'news and weather' thread for more info.

Weather.com would show something like 90% chance of rain on the main page then switching to the hourly view it'd show zero%. It happened over and over so it wasn't a one-time bug. I gave up on them after a week of that.

    cool weather site

I have always used Weather Underground. Their app works well, has always been dead on accurate and is free.

Weather.com was cool before the recent change. Now it's more about news and "lifestyle" rather than the reason 99.9% of the people go to the website.

Weather.com is the weather channel. They blindly use 3 different weather models to predict. Their accuracy is ok 1-2 days out. Any more then 3 days and it gets poor.
Accuweather uses 5+ models, and then the meteorologists look over the data and come up with a forecast for much better accuracy. But with their most experienced and brightest meteorologists there having jumped ship to start weather bell (a pay site), their accuracy has fallen off some

Yep the Front Range of Colorado changes on a dime. Today 65 tomorrow possible snow. Seriously!

The weather forecast is hit and miss here. As you said just look out your window to see what this part of the day has in store.

I did and I have a multi-part question for you. What if you look out the closest window and it's beautiful and sunny. Then you walk over to another side of the house and look out and see thick black clouds. Then, you walk to yet another side of the house and you see it snowing. Then you slam that window shut to keep it outside and you walk to the final side of your house and look outside and see a 747 Jumbo jet barreling down in your direction?
