I had a friend bring back a box of Cohiba Esplendidos from Cuba on his last trip. Nice smoke - really enjoying them.

used to smoke quite a bit

Partagas Robustos were a favorite. Very consistent. My other favorite, when I could get them, was La Gloria Cubana Artesanos. The ones made in Miami. Spicy and good.

I haven't been smoking as many cigars as I used to but I love a Rocky Patel Vintage 1990. Im generally not a fan of Romeo Y Julieta cigars but Im also a huge fan of their Habana Reserves, IMO one of the best bargains out there.

After reading this thread I realized that I'm a very uneducated cigar fan. I like the brown ones that smell good.

Authorities speculate that speed may have been a factor. They are also holding gravity and inertia for questioning.

I love cigars. I often enjoy a mild-medium churchill size cigar. Cigar Aficionado is a good read. My go to favorites are: Arturo Fuente Hemingway Classic, Ashton, Casa Magna, and the Padron series to name a few. For me, it's not the cigar that I'm smoking but the person that I'm smoking with that makes the cigar.

I try to stick to cigar makers with a reputation for consistent quality. Montecristo, Arturo Fuente, Cohiba, etc. Basically you cant go wrong, but they are expensive.

For "non-traditional" big name cigars I do like Rocky Patel's "The Edge" and Gurkha's "Evil". Newbies beware.

For a change up (flame away traditionalists), about 1-2 times a year I grab an Acid infused cigar. Just don't compare them to "real" cigars and enjoy the variety. I like the Blondie.

If you want to try a different kind of cigar on the sweet side, give the Acid Kuba Kuba a try. It's a great stick for a change of pace.

No, I've actually found the ones that smell the most like dog s!ht tend to taste the best. I have a friend who quit cigarettes about a year or so ago and dove head long into cigars. He has 3 humidors and has become quite the cigar snob.
