celeb/musician crushes when you were young...

some of the older dudes probably have a nice wide array of these

    anywayyyyy

John Lennon - i was like, 5, and didnt know he was dead. Also, liked Ringo because i wasnt old enough to realize he wasnt exactly...hot

    one of the uglier Monkees.

the dead guy from Def Leopard because i also didnt know he was dead ( i was 7)

Sub Zero from Mortal Kombat - not joking...i also wont admit how old i was

Knuckles from Sonic the Hedghog - again, not joking. i should probably be mentally evaluated.

various grunge musicians, too many to count. surprisingly, most of them are still alive!

    Susanna Hoffs.

And I never was really into her other than she reminds me of my first gf, but when Madonna came out in that white wedding dress bodice thing I just about lost my sh!t. I was pre-teen or so I think. And then when her Sex book came out I uh...wait...what?

Pat Benatar maybe, not sure because she scared me more than a little.

Lita Ford in that duet with Ozzy.

I'm sure there are more that I'll put up when I think of them.

Kathy Ireland when I was an early teenager. Now see her pics and think WTF was I thinking.
Gwen Stefani. No need to explain that. I'd still shove my wife out of bed to make room for her.

I am ashamed, me and Madonna are the same age and I thought she was hot in her 20's. Now she's a worn out hag but before all the PEDs, surgery and botox there was something nice there.

Debbie Harry was a big one for me in the very early Blondie days. I once was helping out a friend mixing sound for a girl band called the B Girls in NY in the late 70s, and Debbie was their mentor. She came to a show and sat next to me at the sound board... I was a blob of protoplasm for the whole time she was there, and went especially unnecessary when she smiled at me and said I was doing a great job. If she had only known how good I could have been...

Christina Applegate, Melissa Joan Hart (I had "issues" when she was in Maxim), Denise Richards.... a bunch more im sure.

    The most uncomfortable one though....

Im walking through my parents living room at the wise old age of 18 enjoying a sandwhich. I'm a carefree high schooler during the summer. MTV is still playing music videos. As I walk past the TV I notice a particular video on. I think to myself "huh, shes actually fairly cute...". After the video finishes Carson Daly proceeds to tell me that the video was of 13 year old JoJo. All at once I felt dirty, ashamed, and in fear of the Texas law enforcement agencies.

Oh yeah I forgot one. Its more recent. Eliza Dushku. Specifically from the episode of dollhouse where some absolutel GENIUS screenwriter and another GENIUS costume designer decided to have her ride into frame on a red Ducati 1098s wearing a schoolgirl outfit.

Paulina Porizkova... and I watched her movie "Her Alibi" again and again back in the late 80's. And yeah... that shows my age...

In my native country (Philippines), I always liked Cindy Kurleto...

Debby Harry for sure. Raised on the music but was probably in middle school when I first saw her picture.

Jennifer Connelly forever - still one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, I just remember being super young and crushing on her in The Rocketeer and then in every movie thereafter.

That girl from Berlin....with that great voice...and all the others mentioned, minus Estelle Getty.
Grew up in the 80's and it was a magical time for music video. I could name a dozen, like Blondie, lead singer from Go-Go's, Bangles girl, Maddona, the B52's chicks...(they were soooooooo cool!) Could go on and on.

Does anyone remember the blonde from The Fall Guy...Heather Thomas? Wowzer!

Like Nicole, I have some odd ones too.

-The girl who played the young mermaid in Splash. Short scene when the kid version of Tom Hank's character falls into the water and she saves him. Hey, I was 11 when it came out!

-Already mentioned, but Linda Carter as Wonder Woman. Wow, damn fine in an 80's sort of way!

-I did have a serious Catherine Bach crush too back then. Now days, she is scary, but as Daisy Duke driving that '80 CJ? Damn hot!

Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons.... In my deepest dreams, I wanted to tickle her tonsils, she was That Kind of Girl.

dunno, Lady Gaga is a close clone second, me thinks... only in appearance, not in crush on her.

I had that Missing Persons tape...the one with Walking In LA. They were awesome and she was nasty hot. Not sure about your thing with Lady Gaga. I think you should see someone about that.....She's kinda 'guy-like' and you might be confused. "Not that there's anything wrong with that". Speaking of that quote....from the 90's....Scully from X-Files and Elaine Benes...she had great hair and I have a thing for smart/funny chicks.

    And let's not forget 7 of 9.

My grandparents used to give me flack about how I'd kiss the TV when the "Porter Wagoner Show" was on and Norma Jean would sing. She was on the show before Dolly Parton ... and cut me a break, NJ left the show in 65 so I would've been at most 4 when I was acting like that.

Since then, I've preferred crushes on real girls, the same one for the past 30+ years.

Oooooh yeah, Phoebe Cates and Brooke Shields gave me a lot of things to imagine when I was younger...

Phoebe Cates was too sweet looking to be "hot" but she was one of the prettiest to me in that era.

    Brooke Shields... gosh...

It was 1978, I was 8 years old and Grease was my second non-animated movie. I knew I wasn't gay when Sandy wore that black outfit at the end.

Olivia Newton John aside, Liz Taylor and Audrey Hepburn were two ladies I always carried a torch for.

Robin Wright in the Princess Bride--I would have fetched that pitcher for her even if I had never stepped foot on a farm

Any of the Bangles, especially Susanna. Those eyes were enough to forgive that walk like an idiot craze. The tall blonde guitarist wasn't too bad either.

Jewel--I was willing to try to save her soul

Meg Ryan--although I would never take her to a sandwich shop and ask her to fake it.

Kate Beckinsale--oh wait, are we strictly talking about the past?

Carrie Fisher--why should Jabba have all the fun?

Madonna and Christina Agulera during their dirty phases while Britney Spears during her more innocent-looking early career were worth watching on MTV...for those under 30, MTV used to play videos
