It's a rear derailleur, You reach down and back and turn the lever which rotates the chain guide via the rod and moves the chain to the next cog. Indexed sliding horizontal dropouts. But does it have a mechanism to slide to tension the chain when you change gears?

    Interesting bike!

    And a Thermal Protection Apparel?

I think these three replies nailed it. All one in the same yet some are more lengthy than others. 😊

I think the lever cranking down and the dropout able to slide keeps the chain tight enough and the chain guide is whatís used to try to keep it aligned.

Same here, even had a pet one for a couple of years. Young and dumb I was. I never sliced open a rattle though. Pretty amazing adaptation of nature how itís constructed in order to make it rattle.

Not 'nailed it,' exactly. It's way more cool than you guys realize. Here's an article about it.

DJ's torture/tumbler chamber. Put 'em in there and turn the wheel as fast as you can for as long as you can. And if he hasn't stopped blabbing after a few minutes when you stop, turn the handle for a while longer.

    You identified it correctly, surprisingly.

A tiger Musky is a hybrid between a Northern Pike and a Muskellunge. They grow faster and get bigger than both species. Usually sterile and farmed but they do happen naturally in the wild where both species over lap. Some of the lakes in my area have them. A buddy of mine catches 4í ones pretty regularly. One if these days Iíll get out on his boat with him.

Anyone unfamiliar with the biology of the venomous Portuguese man-of-war would likely mistake it for a jellyfish. Not only is it not a jellyfish, it's not even an "it," but a "they." The Portuguese man-of-war is a siphonophore, an animal made up of a colony of organisms working together.

Funny thing is, they actually named the picture "jellyfish".

Originally, it was an article with several large, short embedded videos but now they have redone it as an article with a single, smaller video.

But first, an awl is used to make a pilot hole, then the correct tap is run down creating course threads, then the screw is inserted to the correct height.

    ABOUT THE PORTUGUESE MAN-OF-WAR

Anyone unfamiliar with the biology of the venomous Portuguese man-of-war would likely mistake it for a jellyfish. Not only is it not a jellyfish, it's not even an "it," but a "they." The Portuguese man-of-war is a siphonophore, an animal made up of a colony of organisms working together.

Funny thing is, they actually named the picture "jellyfish".

Originally, it was an article with several large, short embedded videos but now they have redone it as an article with a single, smaller video.

So I was close saying it was a jellyfish. Close gets 9.5 points.

Indeed not a single living being. Rather, it is a colony of polyps.

siphonophore. possibly Portuguese man of war

Edit: Damn skimmed right past the previous post. My dad told me stories about diving and coming to the surface in swarms of man o war. Stung all over. The best thing to do was roll around in the sand then scrape your body with more sand. Don't pee on yourself that's a myth.

The bug looking one is tetraploa spores and the small ones are spegazzinia spores. Common outdoor molds found on decaying plant matter. My wife is a microbiologist and used to read molds.
