    Bali Wood

I stopped by my LBS today and I noticed something just a little different. I have seen the Calfee Bamboo bikes but this one was like nothing I had seen before. It's carved wood and had some pretty interesting features like internal cable routing and integrated oversized headset and nicely curved fenders and it even had a band mount FD. The dragon in the middle section was a nice touch but it looks like its a one size fits all because I didnt see any way to adjust the seatpost.

They said it was made in Bali and was just in for a new set of tires.

It was cool to see something exotic and different ... What have you seen lurking in the back of your LBS ?

nice craftmanship n i respect the detail n effort, but really, who would ride this, imo it looks ridiculous and impracticle, but as an art piece i suppose its ok, its interesting i suppose lol

That is some amazing craftsmanship. I would have expected a little more exotic components if somebody was going to put that much time into the work. Nonetheless, that would be a great conversation piece to have.

the craftsmanship of the wood parts is incredible.

but I agree, I wouldn't have hung those parts on that frame.

I agree, when they said they were just going to put new tires on it, I thought is that all ... ?

the chain is toast and I'm sure the cables are shot ... but I'm thinking this isnt a daily rider
