    The Avengers

Saw it last night with a bunch of friends. I'm not a fan of comic books, and it was insane and badass and so much legit.

    Dude.

I actually got turned down by one of them for a date the other night.

Here's the story.... We had a research paper for bio, and she was supposed to peer-review mine. So I stuck a little scrap of paper in the corner, handwritten with "Also, how would you like to go out for dinner tomorrow?"

When she saw the paper, she didn't see the writing and thought I had accidentally ripped a paper out of the essay, which was stapled together. So she showed it to another friend who was also in the room. I was sitting there, thinking, "****, **** shitshitshithist....." because it was not going the way I had planned. Couldn't say anything.

And then she spotted the writing, and she began reading it out loud to that friend. Once she realized what it said, she stopped reading aloud, but the other friend had already figured it out, and then she realized it must be a joke! The friend had also figured it was a joke, as I do (jokingly) tell them cheesy pick-up lines all the time. So they both started laughing again, and I was still sitting there, awkwardly unable to say anything at all.

Eventually we got it all sorted out, and she said no, and that was that. But the whole episode was so awkward and embarrassing, I wish I'd got it on camera. It was the first time I've ever been so embarrassed that I couldn't say anything.

Iron Man was baddest ass, but Thor was the coolest.

Erik that's a funny sad story. The movie was pretty good and Hulk was funny at the end.
