Salt water works wonders on my herpes.
It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.

Only a sponger here. Mostly when there are big waves, like before a hurricane. There's been a few times I was called in to my job for storm duty while I was at the beach.

Sometimes I'll be out riding and my wife will call me from the beach that the waves are good, so when I'm done riding my bike I'll head down there and ride waves...those are the best freaking days.

    Doood...
You're, like, surfing the ether right now.

In Central CA man, Charlie does surf.

lol not anymore. Ironically I got into mountain biking partially because the surf has sucked here in SoCal since 1995. I think it's because of the rising ocean. There used to be 12-foot waves around 5-10 times a year, now you are lucky to see 6+ ft waves 5 times a year. Just sucks, not even worth driving to the beach. I wonder if Orange County is better but that's an hour drive. Oh well. I used to get tubed like 2-3 times on the same wave down here, it was unbelievable, like Hawaii. And now nothing like it. And I WILL blame this on global warming. I kept thinking the waves would come back. They didn't.
