    Am I the only one?.......thread.

“Am I the only one” that thinks today’s hair trends with women of dying it green, pink, purple, blue, black on one end blonde on the other or whatever looks absolutely ridiculous? It’s like they gave up on trying to look sexy, why not go for looking uglier.

That’s my “am I the only one” gripe.

Got any of your own, or maybe comment on this or someone else’s.

Occasionally I see somebody with colored hair that looks good, but for the most part, they look like shit. I've assumed the difference is a home dye job vs a professional dye job.

The one trend I really don't get is people with long phrases or inspirational sayings tattooed everywhere.

    I don't judge. If I had hair I'd be rocking a mohawk.

nah, the only hair dye I don't understand would be the dye color that's supposed to look like they've gone grey.

I hate the way newer cars try to think for you. Handbrakes that decide when they should apply themselves, wipers that decide they should stop wiping when you stop at the lights. Feck off!!! I can decide these things for myself thank you!!!

    Is it just me?

to be fair guys do it too. looks just as great.

i don't get guys who wear high wader pants. i saw a guy wearing khakis cut off about 3 inches above the ankle. today i saw a pro golfer on the course with high waders. don't like the look.

Add auto dimming rear view mirrors. Mine rarely works.

Meh. I've got a friend who continues to let the wipers wipe, even after it's stopped raining and the windshield is clear. He goes on for several miles before he realizes he doesn't need the wipers on. If otto-wipe can stop this, than I'm all for it. It's either that or I cut his hands off.

Am I the only one who thinks you guys sound like a bunch of grumpy old men?

    Go ride your bikes.

P.S. I have shoulder length hair and am considering dying it as described. Also I have a tattoo. Drawing the line at nose ring, tho.

Oh, you mean flood pants??? When I was a kid, flood pants meant your mom was broke-ass poor; thank the Europeans for starting the “man capri” trend that the young dudes here in the US have latched onto. It looks silly, if not completely retarded. I almost want to make a comment where I work, but seems 3/4 the dudes there wear them (I have them beat, because I wear shorts almost every day… and I am sure my singlespeeder legs look better to the ladies than those flood pants wearing lads).

Not the only one. Although I think pretty much any crazy outfit goes on a golf course.

Am I the only one who....ahh who am I kidding? I got nothing.

Not yet. But I resisted full suspension, 29” wheels, drivetrains with more than 8 speeds & dropper seatposts for a while, too. Just sayin’.

Nope. To each her own. But I think it is especially tragic to see a young person with hair dyed gray.

I get the “to-each their own” “whatever floats their boat”.
What bothers me is a stunning women naturally or with all one color natural or unnatural to them hair color. Totally ruins the appeal by going all clown like with the tri colors. I understand teenagers or early 20’s but ladies in their 30’s, 40’s and 50’s doing this. I say stay with one hair color that is a natural human color. LOL

I dyed my armpit hair, and cornrolled by nose and ear hairs.
I am thinking of a perm 'down there'.

    In respect to the OP,
"Am I the only one" who gets passed by hikers on the climbing part of the ride?

It's those damn carbon fiber poles they use to give them the uphill advantage. Plus , they perforate the trail surface with those things.
Am I the only one who hates those sticks?

DJ, you'd have hated living on the Kings Rd in London during the punk era!

When you guys talk about the 'wading' pants, I have visions of the things that fishermen wear when fly fishing in deeper rivers. How the hell do you swing a golf club in them?

Fückit! I’m going to order a pair of lederhosen and a late 1970s ruffled dress shirt, to one-up those wanna-be Euro-sympathisers; I’ll set a style standard with day-glo pink hi-top sneakers and neon green socks, just to show them who is the alpha male (if limp-wristedness in the name of Euro fashion is to be challenged, that is). There’s a dude who dresses in Jethro Tull attire every day (I kid you NOT!!!), and he’s only maybe 30 years old.
