Woo hoo first to post here.....

See what happens when the weather turns to crap and it is all icy outside. Staring at my bikes dreaming of spring time and dryer non icy days!

    Lets hit Pisgah sometime!

Scheduled to do a 2.5 day backpack trip to the summit of Cold Mtn this weekend!!!

What are the must ride trails in this area? I have a place in Caruso right near this area and plan on spending a few weekends up there this spring to do some riding. We went up last year and rode DuPont SF.
    Nothing to see here.

Go here: http://www.mtbikewnc.com/ Great web page for the "must ride" trails in western NC. Probably the best guide on the net (that I know about) for the legal best rides.

    Enjoy!

For trails around Charlotte, here's a local shop's web site, that lists trails in the Charlotte area:

    http://www.smallbrowndog.com/

I have not had an chance to ride any yet--I live up in Davidson (north of Charlotte) and have been riding around the campus & on some of their 'trails' (cut out for cross country but open to the public during certain hours).
