    Wetness...Where to ride? Bent Creek?

So, I have been up here in Hendersonville since Saturday and lets just say the weather has not been so good for riding. Tomorrow may be my last shot at a ride as I am leaving Saturday. I was really wanting to ride Bent Creek this week, does anyone know if it is a muddy mess? Would Dupont be a better bet?

Generally speaking, BC is the worse draining trail system in the area and DuPont is one of the better.

Just did a run with dogs and the lower sections( wolf branch, ledford, etc) have mud holes all over the place but just in the usual spots Typical summer rainy pattern conditions. I imagine the upper sections are slick as well. Upper sidehill and explorer loop with a healthy dose of fireroads in between might be your best bet at BC. I assure you this rain and mud is not stopping people from riding. The parking lot is evident of that.

Personally I think that Pisgah proper is the best draining area. Dupont tends to get some mud puddles like Bent Creek.
