    Weekend rides in Pisgah 6/26 - 6/27

Some friends from the TORC club and I are camping at Bent Creek this weekend and will be riding in Pisgah. If you want to meet us for a ride here is the info

    ALL RIDES START AT 10:00AM!

Saturday's ride meets at Turkeypen trailhead at 10:00.
Sunday's ride meets at Yellow Gap at 10:00

There are 2 options for Saturday's ride. One of the options involves a shuttle. Email me at [email protected] to discuss the shuttle. If you don't reach me before Friday PM just meet at the trail head.

Bent Creek is included. People can ride BC on Friday or they can ride BC as an alternate versus Saturday's or Sunday's ride.

The majority of the riders will be riding SG\TP on Saturday and Laurel to Pilot on Sunday including our esteemed quide...Maida.

Hollis and I will probably be "doing something" in Bent Creek. I'm available Friday 4 to 5-ish start for a putz around. Distance depends on how much work takes out of me. Saturday and Sunday have yet to be determined. I prefer a loop involving Hickory over GL.

Be aware that there's an active logging operation, so avoid North Boundary earlier in the day.

    BC FYI:

Can also provide info for kids/beginner routes.

Sorry, I knew that I was not going to make it but I though most from our group would do the ride. For various reasons they did not. Some when hiking, some went fishing, some rode DuPont with the Yetiman, Some rode Bent Creek. Some went home.

I hope you had a great ride without us.

Saturday's ride was awesome. 20 miles, all single track in Pisgah. 20+ riders and not a whiner in the group.
