    Weather for Wilson Creek area

I was trying to determine what the weather would be like for Wilson Creek tomorrow (Saturday 1/5/18), and I found that Newland will be a high of 11, but the elevation there is 3800ft, and Wilson Creek area starts around 1500ft, and the route we were thinking of tops out at 3000ft.

Would I be better checking weather for the Lenoir area, or somewhere else?

    Thanks for any helpful info.

Does it really matter? Itíll be cold. Period. The rest is semantics.

probably best to plan for the coldest temps you're likely to see, and plan for the ability to shed layers if too warm.

I always look at the weather for Collettsville... if you look at Jonas Ridge report you'll never want to go riding... apart from maybe the middle of summer.

Thanks Derek. Adding that as one of my cities on the weather page I use.
