I'm not 100% sure , but I thought they just closed it for 1 day. The website has a little blip saying it is closed 11/12. I looked everywhere and could not find any info on the web with some more info. or a number to call. I even tried calling the visitor center and got NO response.

How are the trail conditions? Got a decent storm in the W. Triangle last night. Was planning on a 'day off day trip' tomorrow morning but those trails get pretty greasy when their wet.

I've got a coworker that works remotely from home near kerr scott. She called the park office and they said the trails are pretty muddy. Looks like I'm spending my day off locally and doing some trail work.

I'm not too sure. They are built well and drain well but have a lot of clay... If I lived locally and was more familiar with the trails I could give a better answer.

I'll try answer the best I can.

Warrior Creek doesn't have any scheduled hunts on the calendar for the rest of the season, although hunters can travel in from nearby private land as we all know. With that said, the trails ARE OPEN.

The trails are still very saturated as you can imagine. In fact, it was still raining this morning @8am.

Even though we had rain all day yesterday, last night and early this AM.....Saturday and Sunday will be perfect.

    Hope this helps,

    Double D
