    Visiting Kerr Scott Trails

I'm heading to Winston-Salem for work tomorrow and bringing the bike. Planning on heading to Kerr Scott to do some riding. I've ridden Dark Mtn before, so I plan on hitting Warrior Creek first. Then (if I have the energy) I was thinking about riding up 268 to the end of the OVT @ Bandits Roost campground, riding OVT, maybe Dark Mtn and then riding back. Is it fairly safe to ride 268 from Warrior Creek to Bandits Roost ?

If i hit all these trails I'm going to need some good grub and beer before I head back to Winston. Are there any good local restaurants in Wilkesboro or N Wilkesboro?

The speed limit is 55 through there so its a bit sketchy when trucks fly by at 60 mph. Its a fairly short distance though and people (including myself) do it all the time. Most people give you plenty of room but i usually just get off the road when I see a string of traffic coming.
