Uwharrie need a trail to ride for tomorrow morning

I'm in the uwharrie area now a little off of rt 49 on Badin lake but not near the town of Badin. Where do I find a trail head?

Couldn't find an actual trail head and markings were crap. So we stopped at one point to ask a couple on horses cause there were no bikers to be found and thy were very nice but acted like they've never seen a mountain biker before. So we went into some pull off and luck would have it my bars were loose with no tools being that I didn't think I would need them since my bike just came back from the shop to have a per ride tune up

The first day I took my bike out I didn't take any tools thinking the bike is brand new and I wouldn't need them.

Well, the bars came loose and as I aimed my bike down the trail, it decided to go off the trail and down the side of the mountain. Thankfully I didn't get hurt.

I never leave the house without tools anymore.

if there were horses you were probably in the wrong area..there are 2 sides to the uwharries...it kinda splits at troy..its on 24/27..you cant miss it...if you've gone down the hill to the bridge..you've gone too far.

its got a sign like this one in the parking lot..with a few bullet holes in it..I suggest if you do go..wear some blaze orange/red.

We were off of 109 and it seems as though that was the wrong side
