Update on PAS Brevard area trail crew

We’ve made lots of progress lately removing deadfall, trimming vegetation, and improving drainage on Farlow and Vineyard Gap trails – Todd, Carlos, Tony and I did a bunch of work on Farlow Sunday, deadfall is clear all the way to Daniel as far as we know (please post if you’ve ridden it since Sunday and we’re wrong!)

Lots of other folks have helped out on previous volunteer days – Van, Clay, Steve, Jimmi, Sam… and probably a bunch more since I’ve only been to a few workdays. Todd’s been doing a great job of getting the Brevard crew organized.

It's been really nice to get some bridges built & fences mended on Sidehill Connector and get back to work on the Pisgah trails again!

    Thanks,

I have also add your Post on the PAS website. Thanks

I have been working hard getting all the trail names on the web site so they are searchable.

Are PAS website members notified when a trail work day is announced? I just signed up at their site thru the link above, and didn't see where to include myself as a volunteer for trail work.
Been riding these area trails for years, I'd like to start giving back.

A news letter is sent out about trail work days for Dupont and Alexander Park. However there are requirements to do trail work in the Pisgah Ranger District and Bent Creek.
Click here for the Pisgah Ranger District policy for info.
Contact Van (Trail Crew Cordinator) at [email protected] . When you are on the volunteer crew you will get sent updates for that area.
