    Tsali for Kids?

    Hey All-

I was thinking of taking the kids out to Tsali to ride. The older is 7, the younger 5. Older rides geared, but the younger is still on a bmx. They can ride Explorer, Homestead, Ledford, Wolf Branch and the like at Bent Creek without a problem. What do you think about them at Tsali? Is there any way to find out the schedule of which loops are open to bikes when? Thanks for the input.
    Tim

I was just out there last weekend and was thinking its a great place for kids. Given what they've already ridden, I wouldn't see any problem.
Weekend biking schedule Fri - Right/left loop Sat - Thomson/Mouse Branch Sun - Right/left loop

Thanks- I think that from what I saw on the maps the Right loop had bailouts on to the gravel road. Does the Left as well?

Thompson would be your least technical trail. It's a bit fast at the start and has a couple of long gradual climbs, ridge line putzing and ends with a nice downhill. Reminds me of an extended Explorer/Pine Tree mix. Not as many lake view as the other routes though.

    You planning to camp?
Now you're cast of steel and cast aside. Broken dreams maybe, but you haven't died

Not camping, just thinking about a day trip. Sounds like L/R loops for bikes tomorrow. Thinking R loop, bail out when the kids can't take it anymore.
