    Trails (Bent Creek) conditions

My plan is to go this weekend to ride bent creek, to get there is 2 1/2 hrs from my house (SC). Here by me it has been raining a lot and some trails are closed. How are the trails there? Any recommendation if I should go or change it for later time?

    Thxs

The current afternoon thunderstorms are dumping in the forest anywhere from 3-5 p.m. and last about half an hour. Some have produced nasty lightening, hail and wind gusts. The sun comes out and it's a sauna time, but cooler. If you hit to the higher trails early in the day, you'll probably find good conditions. After the rain - gravel access roads are the only way to go. Still a good work out. Snap-on fenders would be advised.
Now you're cast of steel and cast aside. Broken dreams maybe, but you haven't died

Arrive by 8AM the humidity feels fresh rather than oppressive. Even with rain the evening before, trails have few muddy spots, at least off Rice Pinnacle area.
